  1. this topic should sound "post a pic of you looking like Sam Wheeler" (well, in most cases anyway)
  2. Sad but almost true. I can imagine it being very handy in competitions. For instance a course made out of pallets or logs, you make a jump but slip off the object and land on the bashguard. Probably being in an awkward position you will need very good grip on the bashguard not to slide off. Yet you've made a good point - as long as one doesn't ride natural ( wish i could ) it's not of much use
  3. yeah 5th april is ok, somehow got the impression that the vids need to be submitted by the end of this week. will do one on a curb then
  4. i should get my monty this week so ill film one if the comp will not have finished yet. there's only one f***ing problem - i live out in the country and there aren't any curbs here ! can i do a vid on a row of pallets?
  5. As far as trials goes, I'm scared of anything to do with rails even if it's a tiny drop-gap onto a rail. Hate railgaps, hate jumping onto rails, over them. Otherwise, I'm afraid of lifts which is rather unconfortable taking into account that twice a week I have uni classes on the 17th floor. I'm also afraid of the staircase in that building because I can feel milions of tonnes of concrete above me in one "room" (if you can call a staircase a room). Scared of heights, don't like standing in front of a very large ledge (ie. a roof) because I feel I might accidentally want to jump or step fowards. Hate spiders running loose in my room, if I see one I normally react worse than a woman, despite breeding 9 tarantulas two of which are loose in my room and probably already dead
  6. didn't like it. he keeps falling off, no technical lines, just hardcore stupid stuff. seen better vids, have a look at what Onzaboymark has in his signature. THAT's a good bmx video.
  7. beautiful get some pink grips and pink king hubs/headset
  8. haha Gaz - don't send me the Ti bolt you forgot, and I'll keep the 10 pounds I owe you for postage how's that? (just kidding)
  9. That's partly the reason for getting the hight of my bars down to 78cm if I remember correctly
  10. well walkers have a thick layer of flavour which is fowarded to the tounge whilst chewing the crisp, whereas other similar products (ie. sainsburys' or pringles) have a flavour which is washed away with the saliva thus leaving you with a tasteless crisp to chew. shitty way of putting this but i couldn't think of any other still the chips-shaped ones are pretty good.
  11. yeah, you need to sand it otherwise the paint will just fall off
  12. Just wondering what they put into Haribo extra-sour jellys that make me eat a whole packet despite always having a stomach ache about 12 minutes after the goods have been consumed, and already being fed up with them after eating a quater of a packet Am I just stupid or what?
  13. 3,4,5,8mm allen key, spoke key (dunno what you call it ) chain tool, also carried arround with me an awesome leatherman tool but i've lost it somewhere in my house and can't find it
  14. Just wondering if it's worth buying an eagle-claw bashguard? I ride urban only, there aren't any natural spots in my area . Is the bashguard itself durable? Cheers
  15. just went onto Fatmike's tv.isg account and saw this: Chris King + Angle Grinder.3gp made me want to cry
  16. i don't think t33zr will be happy with this crash, it wasn't spectacular enough still, you had lots of luck
  17. actually that was in the cellar dad didnt mind as long as i would clean the carpet
  18. Just found a short old vid of me riding in my room. Helmet needed, ceiling @2.3m. I know you hate the music Tv.isg.si > indoor.avi
  19. Great riding, music was good but there could be more variety in the spots and moves themselves
  20. what i mean is that you're front brake is left hand and rear is right hand. edit: Jaffacakes beat me to it
  21. 1. How old are you? 10-15, 16-18, 19-20, 21 or over. 2. Gender. Male. Female 3. If you were making a toolbox to store tools which material would you make it out of? Wood. Metal. Plastic. 4. Why? It looks nice. It's easy to work with. It's strong. But if I need to choose one:It looks nice 5. What type of tools would you store in there? Allen keys. Spanners. Screwdrivers. Just bike-specific tools. 6. Where would the toolbox be kept? Workshop. Garage. Bedroom.
  22. I've been trying to change my technique last year to what you have presented here and I managed. Had the same "problem" as you. Consider watching august18 video (TRA on XTP), that was my inspiration for when I practiced. Basically jumping from the edge is good when you do a drop-gap, yet a normal gap or an "upwards" gap had better be done from the edge too. This gives more power, bla bla bla... Don't really know how to help, because after changing to this technique my pedalkick became quite poor. Still it's easy to learn on a stock bike and from you're avatar I gather that that's what you ride. Just get onto the edge of the wall and jump before you hit the pedal. Its all a matter of timing.

    Picture War

just thought the white helmets were somewhat related or the water cannon for that matter
  24. how come you're brakes are the correct way round? not from the uk?

    My Gu

nice bike there I had both the long (by accident) and short GU, both were great as far as geometry goes, still the short was far better (1010WB) However the S (now swapped for a Ti) didn't exactly speak well about the guy who had welded it - it's no longer the good old workmanship... unlike the 05 Python which I wouldn't mind hanging on my wall, it was so beautifully welded. The EG is definitely going down the drain as far as quaility goes
