  1. What rim/hub are you running? Ive got a 2.3 maxxis on a hog rim and a hope xc hub and personally dont think the back end is that heavy.
  2. Latest pic of my bike with new forks, front disc, front wheel
  3. Thats a really good idea. Id contact the organisers and make sure they dont have loyalties towards shops trading at events etc and if they would be interested in having the sort of set-up your suggesting. They may want a small payment from you for using their comp i guess
  4. Im the same. If i go out into town i will generally have 2-3 pints of lager then drink cokes and orange juices for the rest of the night. Others are more than welcome to get hammered. Its funny in the morning when you can tell them what they did and embarrass them lol
  5. Thanks chap. Joe - I checked the headset first but the forks werent rocking it was round the hub area.
  6. Ive put my new front end together tonight. New zoo forks, onza rim built on hope pro 2 hub and a hope mono trial disc brake. When i tested the front brake out, there is a rocking "somethings not tight feel" on the front end. I checked the headset (fine), the disc on the hub (tight) and the disc calliper (tight). Could it be the hub rocking slightly when under load? Any help?
  7. Im going to sleep well tonight now that i know this Whilst on the topic, my new front wheel should be with me on friday, i will get pics
  8. Newer diesel engined cars are much the same as petrol engined cars now performancewise. The 306 turb diesel is a good car and i belive an ecu piggyback chip, like the superchips one gives good performance upgrades. That said, its not that rubbish anyways.
  9. Carphone warehouse will do it for not alot of notes. It might cost a bit more now that the 600 is about
  10. They have no seeds due to not really needing them. Oranges grow on trees. Tree's are grown in specialist nurseries. These nurseries take cuttings off of older trees, and graft (attach) these to a root system. This produces a specific type of orange tree, ie, seedless fruit producing!
  11. Make sure you stretch the legs and arms. I strained a muscle in my leg backwheeling a wall the other nite. Just stretched that little too far
  12. Im on 1060 pitbull and find it to be the best of both worlds for me. I can still pop the front up etc but its steady enough on the back without much effort
  13. I just buy a new pair of pedals to be honest. Far less hastle
  14. Ive no complaints over my hog rim. Tartybikes built it on my old xc hub. I gave the spokes a tighten after a couple of hours riding and ive not even got a slight wobble on it. Ive had it for at least 3 months now i think. I do wonder how some manage to bend rims like these. Learn to land!!!
  15. I see koxx as a prestige brand. Like the ferrari of the trials world! If i competed in trials comps, i would buy a proven comp frame, like a koxx as i know it would do me justice! Zoo/echo frames are, i suppose, comparable to a fiesta! Does the job, there are loads around but is nothing really special! The price reflects this.
  16. Just changing the standard maggie pads for an after market set as suggested above will improve your braking hugely. Try new pads and take your time setting the maggies up right first before you go buying new 05 maggies
  17. I voted hope as i have used hope hubs for years and have never had a problem with them. I also have no experiance of chris king
  18. Same as any other apprenticeship! work with a qualified person, go to college, learn the trade, make the money!
  19. We got pulled over by an unmarked police car last week! I was sat on a wall and me mate was in the road lol
  20. Use sandpaper to take the old paint off, this will also help key the area up for repainting. Basically treat the maggies like you would if you were painting a pair of forks
  21. Its possible your spokes arent tight enough and when powering down the wheel is bending a little.
  22. At least im not the only one thats suffering!!! Bring on the folding tyre please!
  23. That was going to be my method of choice! Was hoping for some clever way of popping them off without too much effort The steel bead is brutal
