    18-13 on 24"?

meh, 20" riders have been running 12t since FFW became the norm, chain snaps are no more frequent for 20s than 24 or 26, i ran 16-12 for a year and used a cheap halfords bmx chain the whole time, my zoot snapped before the chain... so i wouldn't be to put off by that notion. and yes, smaller cogs look f**king awesome. (click the first link in my sig to see so )
  3. if he got hope to reanodise the red cleep bits it'd be super swag...
  4. free burger i know i put it in the happy thread but who's really complaining?
  5. free burger and chips from yates
  6. i'm not quite sure what you'd want a pic of?
  7. i think the hub is moving backwards though =/ would longer bolts let me clamp the wheel better? i wondered about putting some gnurled washers between my wheel and frame...
  8. when i ride for continued periods my back wheel will move in my dropouts (horizontal dropouts) i have echo steel notched cams, they can put the wheel in a position that is right, but it always manages to move, and i have to adjust every half hour or so, is there anything that can be done? i've tried threadloc, greasing inside the bolt collar. i'm running these collars thinking the serrated bit might help but i can still wiggle my wheel free with a bit of beefing about.... my axle isn't so long that exceeds the dropout either. usually when i come to adjust it one cam won't even be touching the bolt it's supposed to. my dropouts look fine too, they aren't chewed up and dogged by any stretch.
  9. for real, how did i not know about this? what uni of students ride? and why havent i seen them?
  10. wonder if he came off like this?
  11. the tryall sticky lite is better for the extra Gs; it's far stickier and generally a nicer tyre to ride on, i have the choice of both, think i'll buy tryall when it runs out.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lgYfdvC3EA this man is hilarious.
  13. got a grad scheme assesment day at royal mail at the end of january. winning
  14. i agree with this entirely. i have a 20 mile commute on weekends and i'm lit up like a christmas tree, when i see anyone else out on my route i have to resist giving them and earful about not being visible. last night i saw i chap riding the wrong way on a dual carriageway with no lights. i wanted to call the police it was that bad haha. However the pedal reflector thing strikes me as silly, as alot of premium flats and most cleats don't accomodate for them, and the fact that reflectors aren't as effective or useful as most people think. i wonder if having reflective material on shoes would count in place?
  15. and a link if you need more
  16. heh scooter abuse. always acceptable. always. what is the correct term for a scooter-user? other than retard/etc
  17. with mr barratt's blessing. i give you; the man with two functional penises
  18. finally getting there with maneuvers to the front bicycle wheel. my commuter light is letting me ride dark/unusual spots that i wouldn't have previously fathomed for evening rides. shoulder is no longer being a peice of flange when i give it some abuse too. hopeful that i'll be up to speed for summer again this year
  19. they seem to fail at the join between the crown and the steerer, maybe his were assembled properly? didn't realise the sl forks had been around that long haha. sure he's note runing the lite forks? they were awesome.
  20. my friend abused a set for the best part of a year before they cracked. i however wouldn't want them for anything but comp only use... be realistic and critical about your riding. are you smooth? are heavy? how often do you do moves to front/hooks? what sort of riding are you doing? just had a look on tarty, they're only 170g lighter than the heaviest forks. i don't know why you'd wanna compromise strength and confidence for a measly amount of weight?
  21. http://www.vitalbmx.com/videos/member/Kaden-Stone-Best-of-2013,52247/kylecarlson,363 10 year old shreds man.
  22. links to the bars your looking at might be helpful, or providing the specs... what sort of riding are you doing? whats your aversion to trials specific bars?
