  1. This bike looks even nicer in the flesh. But you should get a picture from the other side so that the nice people can see your failed attempt at drilling your rim.
  2. Just brought my Pro-tec Classic helmet from wiggle.com.

  4. 200mm Avid Juicy 5 up front. HS11 lever with Echo CNC slave cylinders, coupled with plazmatics and a medium grind at the rear.
  5. Until recently i had an adamant a1 which, i found, had plenty of ground clearance and back wheel control for natural riding. It was also very tough so it resisted knocks on boulders and rocks realy well.
  6. I have just brought a pair of Raceface locking grips, nice and comfey and piece of piss to fit. (no messing about with airlines or hairspray) They were £17.
  7. Leesonbikes.co.uk There are a couple on there.
  8. Definitely not a grind. But if you took the time to just file all the way round the rim the pads will have tons of grip and wont wear down much at all.
  9. I find the exams piss easy, its the coursework I found difficult.
  10. mine is an Adamant A2 with try-all back rim, middleburns and mismatched hs33's Adamant (near bottom)
  11. Tried this today and it really works, its a bit wierd at first but after getting used to it i really improved. Best riding tip i've seen for a while
  12. Sorry can't make it because of work would've been fun too
  13. My adamant stripped and a re-stickered.
  14. Im up for it, shouldnt be working that day. Whereabouts in southampton are you planning to meet?
  15. you could also look at the saracen mad 2six saracen mad 2six its a little over your budget but worth a look
  16. 661 Bravo XC Light, ventilated and easy to fit good protection too.
  17. I do ride in the skate park but i find it a bit dodgy for a beginner. I prefer the streets because it varies, so you do find easy places to ride but there are also a lot of challenges.
  18. I ive never had a problem with my try-all and im constantly rimming (sp) out. So it could just be a defect one
  19. When you start do 1 full turn clockwise then 1 half-turn anti-clockwise, keep repeating this till you reach the end. Hope this helps... Josh.
  20. Ouch! I dont think i could go a week without riding, I'd go mad.
  21. I havent ridden the GU but i do ride an Adamant A2 which has a high bb. A high bb feels good but ive had to get a stem that 150mmx30 degrees so it rides nice
  22. I find kick is better than red bull, its cheaper, you get more and because you get more you get more of a "kick.
  23. Maxxis High Rollers Dual ply are quite strong, i have scraped them many times on a rough jagged wall and haven't really damaged them much.
  24. I know that pasta helps but i didnt think it would make a big difference. I do know that eating a proper breakfast (full english ) will keep you going until lunch, and having a good lunch coupled with snacks durng the day will keep your energy up.
