what you going to do doctor wise? I can think of nothing worse than being a gp in a surgery, obviously the pay is pretty good but people coming in constantly with things like colds and flu. I think that would get boring. also all the disgusting things you have to do and see. I'd love to work in a large hospital in a&e or something you'd see different injurys everyday and you'd get a real sense of helping people

In motorsport sidemounted seats are usually bolted straight to the floor unless your taking part in some kind of endurance race where you have to change driver. reason for mounting them to the floor is that you want to keep the weight and centre of gravity low and also it's less weight and in some cases you don't go to the trouble of having a kevlar seat molded to the shape of your arse because it's light to go and add 5 kilos a pair with subframes. for just daily driving on the road though cobra clubmans mounted either some homemade frames or straight to the floor in the most comfortable position if it's just you who drives it.

I don't think there is a maximum speed limit in reverse basically if your going to fast then its driving without due care. what I can't beleive though is this guys in a coma. one of my friends was fooling about clinging onto the bumper of the car while it was going about 3 mph. The driver braked hard and my friend fell off and hit his head he was in a coma for nearly a month and in the end he died. my friend was 17, you've hit someone who's 75 and much more vunrable yet your still dossing around like you couldn't give a shit. you do realise that if this guy dies you will go to jail maybe for months or maybe for 14 years I don't know how long but what I do know is that you will have ruined your chances of ever owning any decent cars, you'll be lucky to get a job and chances are your turn into a complete waste of oxygen. yet despite all of that you don't seem to care if i was you i'd be inconsolable and i'd be in contact with the police every day to check for changes in his condition i'd have had a lawyer there from the minute the police had arrived. I wouldn't be posting about this on the internet after all any lawyer will google your name and interests looking for anything to screw you with.

The only thing you can do now is be remorseful, write a letter to the guy who you hit asking if he is ok and apologising for what happened, get yourself a good lawyer aswell because your really going to need him. I guess your situation will seriously help your case the fact that you've been thrown out and presumably haven't got much money. I kind of feel sorry for you, it's an easy mistake to make if your pissed off about something or just not concentrating and if it was late at night then you can say you were tired and not thinking clearly, but it's still your fault in the eyes of the law so prepare yourself for the worst. good luck

there are dangerous old people but there are also dangerous young people and in this case it's not the old mans fault at all. You are not allowed to reverse using only your mirrors in your car test you'd be failed instantly for observation, or lack of it. your mirrors are there to give you an idea of what is happening around you they aren't there to be used because you can't be bothered to look over your shoulder. vans and goods vehicles are different as you should have someone there to guide you ideally. everytime someone who is over say 60 goes to their gp he'll ask them a few questions to make sure they aren't deluded. if they are then he will recommend they go and see someone or refer them so they have to. it's unfair to force older people to stay inside the house all night because alot of older people prefer to be out late at night when it's quiet and as soon as they stop going out they'll start on a downwards hill towards death basically. and whats the difference between an older person out at night maybe slightly deluded or a younger person who's drunk making their way home.

it doesn't look good for you at all. if you can't see then you shouldn't reverse, you can get out the car and check if it's safe to do so or you can get someone to guide you. That question came up in my theory test. you really shouldn't go back at any speed. so thats why I'm guessing you were charged with dangerous driving. you probably incriminated yourself by saying you couldn't see aswell. just pray he doesn't die because of it, because death by dangerous driving is quite a high minimum penalty. so yeah you've f**ked up there but it's not the end of the world. have you spoken to someone about being homeless, surely in the situation your in there will be someone who can help you try ringing some of the charity orginisations around your area. I can't believe people are argueing about weather you would break bones being hit at 20 mph. There are thousands of variations, you can't say until it happens. chances are if your hit at more that 15mph in reverse by a steep backed car then you'll go under it.

Thats maybe a little bit harsh, most people do it because they are seriously mentally ill or in severe pain. it's just they aren't in the media so much. Those emo kids are just being selfish, either that or they are really ill. I guess we'll never know.

i guess we'll just have to wait until one of them f**ks it up and makes the rope too long or something then ask them why it's happening. I don't think there will be some kind of pact but it's possible that if they were not in their right mind and they saw another person successfully manage and get all the attention from doing it then they might want to do it aswell

gatsos aren't supposed to flash when you pass them facing towards them because the flash could dazzle you, obviously they do still do it occasionally but they also have to get 2 pictures of the car speeding so they'll get the first one but not the second because you'll have driven past the camera.
