  1. right what i've found from watching damon, cls and neil is they all seem to have a similar ritual before making the jump it's self and thats the important bit they bring them selfs up onto the back wheel but instead of going into the normal hop position they pull the bars up closer to their body bringing there front wheel higher, then they do a few hops and usually a pause, as they are about to go for it they go into the air shrink themselves down (not the front wheel) and straighten their arms as they land so there in a perfect preload position then they just seem to put in alot of power and tuck
  2. jon you can look but don't touch I want to join the euro because it'll be much more simple I don't want to join the euro because everything will become more expesive and will take years to come down to normal prices again. I do think that sometimes different religions single themselves out like you've especially picked on them by saying you don't believe in god. most old people are racist and do things I wouldn't even dream of doing like wipe there hands after shaking a black persons hand, I asked my great granda what is was like going through world war 2 and he said it was strange because he knew what hitler was doing was wrong and he wanted the british to win indefinatly but at the same time he thought the world would perhaps be a better place if hitler had got his way because he wouldn't have the pesky jehovas coming to his door every five mins. lol I like the polish and i think it's fine that they come over here because they can earn more the same as if i moved to abu dhabi i could earn 3 times a normal salary working in the oil, But they could have a little respect for some of our laws like drink driving and speeding and stuff.
  3. but I've done a 5.05 and then a 5.13 consecutively so I could manage it. I couldn't do it outside off the treadmill probs just over 8mins on a track
  4. treadmill I can do a 5 minute mile pretty easy so I think I could do it in under 8 mins

I disagree with this whole completly structured workout I see why people do it but i'm sure it's much better for you to do what you feel comfortable doing when you want to do it. rather than doing the next thing on your list on a certain day. anyway i've had to go easy on the lifting recently and work on cardiovascular because I was getting to heavy and both my hands are bruised and swollen on the knucle and palm from punching my punch bag so hard and often. also my flexiblilty has gone down alot over the last year through lifting heavier wieghts and I need it for karate since i'm taking it up again.

  7. muel if you are comparing your maggie to a disk then you've got very little chance of making them feel the same. If you use a thinner liquid your brake will probs be spongy you could try loosening the spring inside the lever behind the seal but thats a bit extreme just keep the slaves oiled and try it out you'll soon get used to it.

  10. anabolic window? most protien shakes are high in sugar so if you take it straight after your work out then you kill to birds with one stone.
  11. i'd say the best way is take 2 identical pics 1 with the person and 1 without the make 2 layers put the one without the person on the bottom and the other on top, then use the eraser on his head until hes headless.

I know about free motion and that but if your only doing it to look good or your not bothered about lifting huge amounts then machines are fine you can build muscle just as fast (although different muscles). it just makes life easier and it's easy to not get hurt. I use both so i'm not to bothered. gav
  17. Free weights will do exactly the same as machines you just add more weight to machines unless they've been balanced. free weights are more dangerous and you don't need a spotter for a machine so machines are probs better if you're not mega serious.
  18. you at st andrews now? after i've passed my test i'll be riding there quite often if i remember rightly there are some pretty decent rocks but the actual town is quite old and historic so you'd get a bollocking for riding some of that stuff. very nice bike. gav
  19. Cool Pics. I love riding forestry like that, it's great fun but some of it is insanely slippery. I suppose it's a bit better with a rear disk you don't have to worry about getting the rim muddy.
  20. stock forks on mods work fine if you run a disk, I actually quite like them.
  21. rda means nothing really unless it's your own rda. aslong as you use the calories up you can eat alot of them some athletes will consume 12000-16000 a day if they are working hard for sustained periods of time in cold conditions. I eat around about 4000-5000 which twice the rda but i use them up and I don't put on or lose weight so I'm not doing too much damage but you have to be careful where you get your calories from eg it's better to have a banana than a dairy milk but you'll know that already.
