to be honest it's up to the buyer to make sure the person he's dealing with is not going to rip them off. ask around maybe even post a topic asking if anyone has dealt with the person before and what there experience was like. most of the time you can tell right away the people who deal on here often and are sound and the 14 year old kids who sell the stuff then realise they have no way of posting it. if I'm buying something from someone I don't know then i'd be looking to get a landline phone number for them, and a phone number for one of their parents there full address and if they give you a number give them a call and check its the right one. also it's not fair on the seller if the buyer says something like just post it as cheaply as possible and it gets lost, then it's up to the seller to return the money even though they might have wanted to post it recorded or special delivery. i had that happen to me and I wasn't very happy at all. it's up to the buyer to decide who they buy from and obviously some cases can not be avoided but most of the time the buyer can make steps to ensure the seller is sound.

blue with a slight transparency to it.

I also pay for all my bikes and I'm not 18. I don't like my parents buying bike stuff for me because when it gets damaged (often) then you've got to explain it to them.

yeah i'm only about 5'9 and pretty much everything i've got is my arms so i'm good a bench presses but shit at alot of other stuff.
-
yeah 1 rep and i'm shaking your a fair bit taller than me too though I think

yer thats fair enough I suppose I know a few folk who would be about that. you've given me a nice target for summer. i'm 68kg just now and can bench about 95-100kg on free weights if i can bench twice my weight i'll be well pleased

I think it's gone past the point of being a 2 min job to the post office. if he was going to post it he would have done it by now. If I were you mike I'd be looking to send a letter via a solicitor of sorts asking either for the hub or money within 10 days or you'd be taking him to small claims. obviously a letter from a solicitor is going to cost in the region of £40-100 but if you've got any mates in law then i'm sure they could throw something together for you for a few quid and remember if you do go to court then your law fees will be signed onto his sorry ass.

stock is easy, I had one last summer and could ride it just aswell as my mod. aswell as picking up high 40's taps in a couple of days i don't find stock difficult (if anything i find it easier) I just love my mod because it's so flicky and fun. if i wanted to go big I'd get a stock. The bigger wheels are confidence inspiring on street, when you line up against a big up on a stock it's much less daunting than on a mod.

christ how much did you weigh? I bench twice my own weight on a benchpress machine but on free weights thats going some

Any Rides In Scotland This Weekend? 15,16th
Gavyn. replied to ZHI_Chris's topic in Member Organised Rides
lol don't be silly There are probs around 100 riders in scotland and your right we've got plenty of stuff that would rival anywhere in england the west coast of scotland is pretty much the most rugged place in the uk there are rocks there which easily out do the likes of the yorkshire moors. the uci world championships were held here last year the only problem is it's always pissing it with rain here -
if you do ride aberdeen again I'll make an appearance this time. forgot i had family stuff to do last time so was a no show, glad you got there ok and enjoyed it though

Thats really what my indoor workout comprises of, along with push ups, burpees, skipping and boxing usually although I do a fair few more reps Then outdoor I try and run 10k atleast once a week and cycle atleast 50k offroad + about the same again on road just getting to the trails. really the best thing you can do is start off small and slowly build it up. Different things work for different people and it also depends on what you want acheive if you want to be built like a tank or incredibly fit then your workouts will be very different. I try and keep mine somewhere in the middle because I want to join the army and ultimatly the special forces you've got have exccelent fitness but you can't be built like a twig

it's a great idea. Split it up. People will use the wanted forums because sellers can just use the search to find wanted topics for the parts they've got. it'll make life easier for everyone exept you guys

Really you can't go down i've got a hope mini which is a 145 and it is pretty cool though smaller rotors look ace they just lack abit of the hold you get with a bigger one

yes, quite frankly if you've done a cardio session and your not feeling sick then you haven't pushed yourself enough. it's a great fitness indicator though you go on the rowing machine and give your everything until you start to feel sick then stop and record the time you lasted. then as your sessions progress you should see that time increase dramatically.
-
you can never make it go away. It means your hitting your maximum which is good. but it's just feeling sick, who cares just keep going it'll really help you cardio wise. I was training last week when i got speaking to an ex-sbs guy ( he's walked to the pole twice and done everest) he said through out all his training for the sbs he was sick at the end of every session because he was pushed so hard. the only reason he carried on through it was because he hated the oic so much that he wanted to prove him wrong. the only way you can stop getting it is if you get fitter and fitter so you find it hard to hit your maximum for every time your sick you've got eat and as for doing it on an empy stomack thats the worst advice i've ever heard your body burns cards and protien in order to run if you havent eaten anything then you wont have any carbs so your body will be running on pure protien which means everytime you lift a weight your muscles are getting gradually smaller and if your doing cardio you'll be rapidly decreasing the size of your muscles and suffering from extreme exhaustion faster than normal

They use bitumin on roads to fill cracks and smooth the transfer between new and old tar or concrete, thats the best stuff to get it's already been heated by the people who laid it so it's the best consistency. Just peel it off and mould it into a ball using your hands unless it's incredbly hard then you'll need to heat it with a blow torch to get it off and to mould it. remeber the blacker the better so if you see stuff thats been there for ages and is grey it's not worth using. if you get roofing tar it's worth heating until it's boiling then leaving to cool before you use it.

I was inspired (forgive the pun) by this today, so went for a ride up the woods. It's great fun, loads of lines which I've walked past a thousand times and never even noticed. ace vid, so smooth and controlled. also simple editing and music made it great. Gav

it's crap advice, unless your learning to link turn I mean if your facing into the slope you'll want to have your weight on your toe edge to keep the speed down aswell as prevent the heel edge from digging in but just as you start to come around so that your facing down the slope you'll need to make the transition between toe and heel pretty quickly to prevent your toe digging in. basically the best peice of advice you can get for snowboarding is just to be smooth and relax, if you get tense you'll make silly mistakes and land up on your face/ass, if you make your moves to quickly and jerky you'll also end up on your face/ass, sometimes you'll have to act fast, but most of the time you can just glide along and enjoy the ride.

I think you'll need an NI number.
