leeW Posted July 3, 2009 Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) I had a bad 1 last sat,I tried back hopping up onto a concrete block from a smaller one about a ft highAs my back wheel landed, the quick release gave out on my magura,The back wheel slipped out from under me and I hit the deck like a sack of shit.I landed on the edge of the contrete block on my back (no hands or feet so support my fall as they were still on bike)I ended up with a huge bruise on my back and was unable to move for bout ten mins.I was also unable to breath properly for bout and hour + as i winded myself so badly.Will post a pic when i can figure out how to do it.LeeW. Posted July 3, 2009 Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 Went to do a sideways 180 gap on a monty 221ti put the power through the pedals the rear axle snapped flund me over the bars and i broke my collar bone for the second time.had other little ones, i once went to do a sidehop but tryed to bail half way up because i had the set up all wrong came down my handlebar brake lever etc hit the wall with my hand inbetween them. Pictures:First hour after I went into hospitalCouple of days laterAfter the operation to basically repair my whole forehead. Details:Broken bones: Frontal SinusNose,Left Cheek boneJawNeck (The ring right at the top of the spinal cord)Also split my lip in half and put a nice gash on my chin.Comments?
