mk4 rs turbo escorts are cool, as are the mk6 cosworth ones. but there generally nice cheap cars that are reliable and easy to get parts for.

id rather have a ford that breaks down every 20,000 and i can pick up a new alternator for £25 from a scrappy within 5 miles. and fit within the afternoon

than a lotus which falls apart every 5,000 and its cost £165 for a wheel bearing which you have to wait 3 weeks to be posted from the bearing supplier in taiwan then have to pay £200 to get it fitted.

rather have a shit box that runs, than a piece of fibreglass and fancy technomology that doesnt.

ps, thought id add a lil picture of the mini with the bike loaded up!

minis dont have too much rear seat space, so its actually easiest to just stick the roof rack on!

Nick, you uber long bike is nearly as long as your uber short car. (N) Love it!

I'm guessing he's got a tuned one then...

they come with 133bhp as standard.  Also, from what I've seen the standard alloys are not wide enough to put the power down properly.

Yeah it's tuned pretty nicely... Not sure on all the mods, but it has a straight-through 4" can that looks and sounds extremely sweet. He has a Mazda RX7 intercooler and loads of stuff that I can't post as I'm not sure the exact details...

It is damn sweet though... His turbo runs at 10 PSI at the moment too, but he's getting an electronic boost controller to take it up to a possible 15, but that would destroy the turbo so he's going for about 12.5... Should be insane!

He failed with 1 major and 3 minors, silly boi.

Rossi.

hahaha

serves him right for telling everyone when his test was.

never tell people when you are goign to take your test because if you fail you just look like a fanny...........

but if you pass you can surprise everyone.

Just wondering, what made you wanna do that? Obviously it's not just you that's done it in this thread but it just made me wanna ask what the reasons behind it were.

When I get a car, it's gonna be a 306.

Well iI wanted my car to look nice, my whole family's into car's and I've grown up with it. I were always going to get alloys and lower it etc. But whilst rumaging through the scrap yard i came across a clio with that bonnet, spoiler, sideskirts (not on the car yet, mabye this weekend) and quite afew other bit's. At £35 who can argue! :ermm: :-

a lil pic for all you classic lovers

ma dads mk3 2.8ltr injection capri

i drive a mk3 corsa

did have a mk2 rs2000 but sold it to get corsa

dad has an E46 beamer and had a scooby turbo before that

tom

Get a Mk1 Rs2000 or a Mk1 Capri.... or even an Anglia with a Crossflow in, my dad's was mint!
