Greetings
Ride an A1 which is basically an A2 but with a really short rear end. I had quite a few rides on my friends Control L and it was superb, just a bit on the short side. I'd go for a Control unless the longer stays on the A2 make a big difference, my frame lacks in power. ryan360
I prefer the look of the adament but im not sure about the frame size it seems really small and im about 6ft2. I think the echo would suit me more.

mods
the frames are both so different. You obviously havent ridden either, so with that in mind i would say go for the echo.

GTF
Yo dude go for the Adamant i personally think it looks betterAdamDo not go for the looks. Performance over looks!!IMO the Control is much better than the Adamant. The best thing would be to try some bikes and see which one you like best. Rusevelt
The A2 is a more progressive ride than the Echo, specifically more stable on the back wheel with the high BB. the Echo looks more bling and has built in brake booster. Whats more important to you, the ride, or the looks? Edited January 23, 2007 by Rusevelt

Rusevelt
im pretty sure its the rider not the bike that progresses That is very true, but your short-sighted trials wisdom had failed to realise that if it wasnt for the dedicated knowledgeable input of progressive pro riders like, Hans Rey, Ot Pi, and Martyn Ashton(all of whom have contributed to the dynamic changes of modern trials bike geometry), we wouldnt be riding the trial bikes we take for granted TODAY! im just stating my opinion about two different bikes(A2, Echo), though you seem to have a personal agenda which is totally irrelevant to any expressed opinion about two different bikes. for all we know, this dude may change his mind and get himself a totally different bike ie; Zoo or something that is on sale. bet you didnt consider that.... tom 20
Cant say fairer than that . personally i would go for a echo. i have ridden the short version and even that was nice so the long one must be really nice ( as i like longer bikes) If its legnth your going for and you've decided you want an adamant get the a1 because the a2 is short short.. tom Edited January 25, 2007 by tom

Matthew_Gibson
Echo as its made out of better material! the A2 hasnt got a built in booster, has bb rise (some people dislike it)
James Quigley
I have a high BB bike (GU 26'' long) and love it to pieces. But I'd still recomend you get the Echo.Decent quality, decent ride, Shiney!I've only ridden an adamant A1 and hated it, felt like I was ridding a dumpy lass with a hunch
