It's not that bad?

I really think people's way of thinking towards new things is quite stupid

I'm pretty sure that when people get used to the look, that they will start to like it more, same thing

is happening with the mod prototype, people hated it at first, but more people are starting to like it now

that is actually awful.

How can a company be so completely and utterly shit at designing even semi-nice looking frames? That just looks terrible!

Bearing in mind how much Monty properly screw you for for the X-Lite 221Ti (or whatever little acronym they gave the £530 mod frame...), with all that extra work on it, that frame's gonna be mad expensive. I know people are still going to buy it to get that pro comp look, but even so...

As far as i know, the curve in the toptube made it possible to get such a low standover without compromising the strength in the headtube area.

So frames like the GU aren't able to? :P

Anyone think it could give them frame a little more spring when doing front taps?

Good call. I should be more thoughtful next time. I think Monty will make it clear in his ads, why this is the best way to make a frame.

I didn't know Cesar could even ride a 26! ;)

Looks... different, which in itself isn't a bad thing. Trying new things and all that. I'll wait til I see something a bit more final before passing judgement. I'm still waiting for the new style 20" Monty's to surface... those things have been in the pipeline for a good couple of years now.
