  1. Ahh! Good to know. I’ve got a good Ti bb axle sitting waiting to be fitted and I was holding back. The good thing about the longer alloy echo bolts was they’re light. x2 shorter steel bolts might negate the weight saving using the Ti bb haha.
  2. Yep, at least 2 Ti echo bb axles.
  3. Awwww! I miss the headbanging in a field and the spins on a seriously heavy mod.
  4. That thing is such a Super Bike. May the trials gods bless you for going all out!
  5. That's an amazing resto-mod! One or two teeny pick ups would be that the cassette range seems a bit too wide. Would you ever use those spinny gears? Closer range would be lighter, look cleaner, allow you to run a shorter chain and feel nicer to click through between gears. Those orange warning stickers on the rotors don't need to be there and the dust cap on the front calliper needs popping back on Again, amazing job dude!
  6. National Trials Cup - Final round of the year Enter now for your chance to be super cool. https://www.store.fxn.global/events-1
  7. We love it though so its got to be done. I'm less of an experimental builder but more of a use-what-works-best-for-me type of builder and very close to finishing a project I've been working on.
  8. Swish! How are those rear/rims for grinds? I have one here and I'm dithering on whether to build that or an old trial tech rim up!
  9. Cant wait to see this. Is that a big 20mm axle on the front king? I take it you have a QR conversion in mind? Going to heat gun off the head badge? Smooth out those chain stays before paint too?
  10. Yes! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this
  11. 2nd round of the British Trials Cup and the 3rd round of the Scottish Bike Trial Series. Enter Here @ FXN Events
  12. Wasn't it more Ashton having a dig and Carthy going along with it? Ill take your point though.
  13. They do wear some questionable compression clothing
  14. Hmmm. As a wise Tarty Adam once said, you're not holding onto the front axle. If the frame feels long, aren't you going to have the opposite effect by running the angle set? Why not try a backwards facing fork (a la Jeff Anderson) to shorten the WB? It might look a bit special but you aaaaare riding a trials bike (GU no less).
  15. Zero power? Really? Might be worth looking at your set up. Disc size for example. Bigger the better for more powerer. The Zee, if set up correctly, bled well, centred, bedded in properly etc, should be decent enough. The red EBC, as good as they are, will only give a little extra bite. Don't just think running the EBC will dramatically up the braking performance.
  16. Great venue. Seems to improve every year. Enter here - https://www.store.fxn.global/events-1
  17. Pedals are going to fall out riding them like that
  18. Best tuck the derailleur cable in boy, you'll catch that on a trip wire.
  19. Enter following the link provided. https://www.store.fxn.global/events-1
  20. Looks like the longer stem is working out well for you, James. Always enjoy a dual-disc-long-bike video from you.
  21. Trying to imagine what that would feel like to ride. That geo. Those tyres. No grips. With the rear rim side wall repainted, that would look the ticket.
  22. Thanks guys. Unfortunately the brakes need a service so the bike wasn't ridable in that state (not that I would ride it in anger anyway ) Might get the Manifesto built next?
