  1. Sorry G, I must have missed this first time round! Once there's a comp season planned out, you could tie a visit in with one of the rounds?
  2. Don't worry Neil, so is yours!
  3. Top job boys! Great riding by all. Very cool to see a blue V racing.

Loved it @jamesb Really enjoyed the shoulder dab lines. Because why not, it’s not a competition after all if anything you should be offered style points for it. You look so so comfortable on the bike. Brakes and hub sound spot on, and by that I mean, I can’t hear the brakes but can almost certainly hear the hub. Sounds great! Would you say it inspires any more confidence riding the I9 over any other set up you’ve used? Is the noise noticeable when jibbing? What sort of rebound figures are we talking? Do you have the fork set up reasonably stiff and fast, or any extra tokens?
  5. Dima has some good style. Zero set up or correction hops, no flapping around on manuals (which I almost find a bit creepy sometimes with the super static body position) EDIT: no, there is some knee jiving! and just generally rather smooth. One word for you G. Meeeoow.
  6. Haha, yep. This. Body is in tatters because of it. Id be out building trails too but the midges are atrocious. I cover up from head to toe but the sweat dripping off my face and collecting inside the midgie net is a bit rank. Lots of house maintenance going on. Bit of work in the garden too. Edit. Sorry, not much of a hustle. Spending more than making really...
  7. Disc mount which never made it to production. Would have been the dream. Integrated headset looked good too.
  8. Should have some more info for you on Wednesday dude. Ive heard the Inverness lot are up for coming along for the next one too!
  9. It gives me great pleasure to visit tf and have a delight such as this to view. Part of the pleasure comes from knowing I’m not missing anything on any other platforms such as social media. The stairs kicker to double tyre tap could have been on repeat for five minutes with the continuous sound of a cow mooing and id still have left with a smile.
  10. Couldn't agree with that more. I had a set of echo forks on my Ashton and it rode like shit on the front wheel. Swapped them out for some tatty old Ashton forks - but they ride better! I had the echo fork paired with a 90x25 stem....That was also far too high and short haha. Like you say, its not a Hex. I've just got something about stems following the same angle as the top tube, in the same way people like to run the angle of their bars at the same angle as the head tube.
  11. Oooosh, very nice! On the gearing point. Where did you think you were lacking in gearing? Just for getting around? Or we were you kicking thin air on the 17? I had a 16 on the Ashton and went back to 17 as I feel its the sweet spot!
  12. Cant wait to see it with the rear spank on it. The rear braking surface is killing me! Its making the front tyre look bigger than the rear. Cant be having that haha.
  13. Says just above the video dude. Cambusbarron, Stirling.
  14. Had fun on the hard tail in some nearby woods.
  15. No! That’s the fun part! Rear you’re wanting a dual ply wire bead or folding 2.35 either super tacky or maxx pro depending on how comp or street you are. Front you want a single ply folding 2.35, same applies for compound. I use both the ikon and the crossmark and much prefer the ikon.
  16. Yea, my favourite tyre for street! Shame I cant find any!!
  17. Is that an old Larsen you had or is it bought new, recently?
  18. Awesome guys, killing it! The orange frame and yellow brakes looks so good!
  19. Yea, I did note the other silver bits but the link and the fork were my favorite! Good work man
  20. Stripped fork and link looks great!
  21. It's only a single wheel tensioner but I've had great results with this one.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Single-Speed-Rear-Tensioner-Converter-Guide-Chain-Folding-Bike-Aluminium-Alloy/274345145639?hash=item3fe03eb527:m:m88HboLGLYqcwOIS6OkOp3g Can be tensioned up or down. Quite light and relatively inexpensive. You'll need a hanger bolt to mount it though.
  22. Are you using a tool like this? https://www.wiggle.co.uk/park-tool-compact-crank-wrench-and-puller-cwp-7/?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&sku=129923&kpid=129923&utm_source=google&utm_term=&utm_campaign=Shopping+-+All+Products&utm_medium=base&utm_content=mckv|sfLMKCcqc_dm|mcrid|295296961877|mkw||mmt||mrd|129923uk|mslid||&mkwid=sfLMKCcqc_dm&pcrid=295296961877&prd=129923uk&pgrid=57437518777&ptaid=pla-522053076211&gclid=CjwKCAjwtqj2BRBYEiwAqfzurxCfFTFb04byNyQIFKvtnUxNIq3YXP35QLfylC2Rk0-TWRNXfhk7sRoCxdsQAvD_BwE If not, you should be!
