  1. Not to detract from your self-worth, but I was made aware of it in advance of it happening.

    DC015

It was fun to re-live that week in 6 minutes! Jonas for King?

    TRA noEscape

That was really cool, but I have to be honest with you... Whilst I didn't dislike the rest of it, only the last minute or so is what I really enjoyed. I like watching you what you do best, and the last minute is exactly that That sidehop from the black block is outrageous.
  4. That was cool! The skate park looks dangerously run down though. Haha.
  5. It didn't pull me away from it, but it did replace it. I was into both at the same time for a while - probably around 18 months or so - but then I just lost interest for various reasons and stopped. The second question is a little delicate and I'm not really willing to go into it so publicly.
  6. Gosh. That's quite some reception! Thanks A lot of the time, it's when I've filmed something whilst riding alone so I'm just setting it as close as possible to see the line better, but several of them were when it became a stylistic choice after filming alone a bit and liking the effect. I'll bear this in mind for the future. Cheers!
  7. Large You seemed to very suddenly get quite a lot better on the GU - is it better for you?
  8. Thanks again all Feels good ^.^ Not really, no. I very rarely ride the bike with brakes - when I do it doesn't really "feel" weird, but I do have some issues.Pulling the brakes at the wrong time or forgetting to pull them, happens occasionally, but the most common issue is forgetting to let go of them on things like sidehops. This means I put all my power into a locked-up wheel and shoot straight over the bars Firstly, I'm a very long way from "BMX street pro level", and even if I wasn't, I very much doubt they would be. I'm not exactly sure what crashes you mean, but by the sound of it, no I've unfortunately had a LOT of practice at escaping crashes, so I guess it's just kind of normal to me now :/
  9. Thanks guys I normally don't like covers of good songs because they're not the good song any more. (There are a few exceptions.) I don't like much of Johnny Cash's music either, but I like this one. I like it so much I very nearly didn't use it out of respect. ...But I don't rate NIN original of this song at all, so it's all very conflicting! Haha.
  10. There's only really Josh left that I know of. He's having trouble with getting on here recently so hit up Josh Leech on FaceBook if you use it. Failing that, send me a PM and I'll give you his number The rest of the locals - what few there are - are more Leicester way. Chris Groves and John Rebelistic still ride, so find them too!
  11. Edit: I withdraw my effort to try and help people understand something so I don't get the blame for an argument pinned on me again.
  12. Press-fit until I die. Used to have lots of trouble with bearings dying in threaded BBs, but have had significantly less with press-fit. Never had a creaky one either, though maybe that's just less of an issue for trials riding... Sure, it's technically two tools, but removing and fitting a press-fit with a hammer and bearing press (Echo tool style) makes a two-minute job of those too. In my mind, the less parts a bike has the better. Especially if that also means less threads. Press-fit BBs, integrated headsets, integrated tensioners (Echo style) and the like are all good things, I reckon. Through axles will also sit in that category when they use a separate threaded component (external nut or something) on one side. Threading frames/forks seems like a step backwards
  13. I wish we'd gone to those caves instead of the one extra day's riding now. Wish I could be there too!

    gloves/grips

Are your hands dying on rubber or foam? If it's rubber and you're not too keen on gloves, try foam. They're weird to get used used to, but great once you've adjusted, and much less harsh on the skin. If it's on foam/both then I can't help you. I'd rather just continue bleeding than ride in gloves
  15. Perhaps not with a 10 (or wider-than-usual flanges), but with a 12 it's still pretty awkward on most modern-ish hubs. Gotta get some pretty serious bends on the go. (Speaking from begrudging experience )
  16. You'd also have to get pretty crafty threading the spokes through Looks really cool! Really satisfying riding parts that you made, so it must be even nicer when they look nice too! Haha.
  17. I used to find it annoying that you did this, but now I simply don't care and think you're a royal twat. Doubly so when you go to the effort of explaining how and why that wasn't what happened and posted a link to the original, then edit it out in that fashion.
  18. ...Not at all sure how I feel about featuring so heavily in this
  19. On what grounds, exactly?
  20. Have you used an 80ep version? As you say, there's nothing wrong with the old ones, but the difference is definitely there
  21. They do, but it's BMX style 9t driver, or 6-bolt sprocket driver (minimum 15t) only
  22. Holy moley! Keep expecting your progress to slow down at least a little bit, but it only seems to be speeding up! Whopper

    Remix 2015
