  1. When considering spending triple-figure sums, a saving of a single digit sum is hardly worth considering a major saving.
  2. He's just flexing his wrist because the bar angle hurts it so much
  3. Is that a 24? Kinda looks like it is and isn't at the same time
  4. Most definitely a repost - I watched the shit outa this! Haha. Can't believe it was three years ago - and I'm pretty confident (read: 97.5%) that he COULD do that rail up to skinny wall on his current bike.
  5. If it's the 24th, I can come. If it's the 23rd, I'll be at work.
  6. Please tell me this is current! VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO.
  7. Seriously: It just does everything hoppy-trialsy at least as well as my hoppy-trials intended bikes, but really opens out to streety stuff. I love. But if we're not allowed current bikes, I think it'd have to be this:
  8. Haha! I was there with Kyle, Shaun and Adam
  9. It's Santa's home, innit.

    The Knut Jumps

There's no disputing the size of the back-wheeling or sidehopping - and I'm not saying that the gaps weren't ridiculously big, but how big actually are they? That lens affects some pretty savage warping. My guess is 10' +/- 3" Edit: For the level gap, that is.
  11. I can't wait, either. I don't think he's ever made a video that I haven't watched over and over again straight away
  12. Sweet. Danny G lookin' cool on 24"!
  13. Terrible life advice, you mean. If the whole of your life really revolves around sex then you clearly need to re-think your method. Getting the protractor out and doing drawings might lead to drawing something that makes lots of money. Say, a bridge. Once it's been built and you get paid obscene quantities of money, your odds of catching the prize at the end of the chase are significantly improved. Unless it's actually the chase you enjoy - in which case fair enough, carry on.
  14. Gets(/got? Does he still ride? Not seen or heard anything of him for a while...) through some forks! Haha. Big stuff, and I enjoyed it, but it was a bit too long I think.
  15. First person I've seen running flat bars in a loooooong time! Love those frames, too. Riding was awesome and enjoyed the lack of music. Camera quality was absolutely belting, too. Overall - very, very good
  16. I dunno... Have you tried all the cables? The only problem with a rear BB7 is the cable flex. I only ever tried with a Wilko's cable which makes it a very noticeable problem, but I'm sure there must be some out there that are stiff enough. I'd both at 203 too, just because why wouldn't you?
  17. Maybe it won't be. Bear in mind that most of us saying "it'll be horrid" have a reasonably strong street-bias. Do be sure to let us know! Very interested.
  18. No I would've stayed with a more normal BB height, short reach and shorter and/or lower stem. Being higher off the ground just makes things more awkward, from my experience. (Not saying we should all have +0, just that even +70's kinda twitchy already.) +90 mods are SO high already. A +70 stock is ridiculous - so high off the ground. Everything feels ultra twitchy/unstable on both. +110 24? I'd love to have a go on it to see what it's like - but I'm pretty sure I'd hate it. Haha. What stem are you going to run on this?
  19. That problem is purely academic. They're about the same. If you get a shit freewheel (eg. ACS Claws/Dicta etc), it'll skip. If you get a cheap freehub (eg. Deore/Budget Onza etc), it'll skip. If you get a really good freewheel (eg. Echo SL) it'll hardly skip, if ever. If you get a really good freehub (eg. ProII/King), it'll hardly skip, if ever. Four out of five people I ride with regularly have Echo SL freewheels, and the only one ever to skip was once before it had bed in properly. FFW also gives the benefit of a slightly more central dispersion of weight (whilst also usually being slightly lighter, depending on the hubs in question), which makes far more difference than you'd think. I'd say a ProII and Echo SL are just as reliable as each other, though the Echo has the benefit of weight and weight dispersion whereas if the Hope goes wrong you can send it back and almost always get it repaired for free within a few working days.
  20. Oh. My bad. I meant to say "Because, to us, it sounds awful." It was kind of implied so there was probably no need for you to call out on it, but I guess this'll explain it.
  21. Because it sounds awful. I'm jealous of how much control you seem to have over hooks! I've been trying for ages and they only happen sometimes, and very sketchily.
  22. Nope. He's actually right for once. Wasn't sure what the Phase forks looked like so searched. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=phase+mad&sugexp=chrome,mod%3D13&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=-46pUJmIA4jgtQa2tYCwAg&biw=1680&bih=961&sei=Ao-pUJ_cEcTptQanoYCgDw Second row on the very left. The picture's been removed from Photobucket, but it looks the same bike. Same bars, forks, frame, front rim etc. Here's the thread: - Phase forks. Even if they've been changed for Because's, they're definitely not the quoted Inspireds
