  1. awesome! be sweet to see another one in action. Yeh definitely, just not sure where yet! was considering plymouth, we re-discovered a lovely bit down by the docks
  2. IF anyone is interested in one of those splitters, PM me
  3. Had the Zhi for a little over a year now and Ozzy's topic reminded me of this...so here she is Only change is Boosters back on there now. Spec is pretty obvious, Rear King, h0le rims, stiky lite and stiky tyres, Viz 720 bars, Zhi stem, tensile h.set, dual 04 maguras with rb's and coustellier pads, mag pedals, and burns with a ti bash. Its had a few nips and tucks and some little modifications done to it when i've been bored. Hasn't been ridden half as much as i'd like.

Really....? His bikes pretty damned light as it is, its not as if he's riding a pre 07 Gu or something. Singlewall rear rim, big betty, 1.6kg frame and urbans arent exactly heavy weight.
  5. I was really underwhelmed with my small Block 8 on the front of my mod...on the stock it was marginally better but nothing on a try-all stiky in my experience! The Intense tyre looks as if it would turn to a slick at the slightest hint of any mud too? Any idea of what durometer it is?
  6. Dont do it liam, stay maggie. Its not worth all the hassle! If you are contrary then go dual BB7 or if you find one silly cheap, hope.
  7. Remember the lockring is designed to tighten when its used as a front freewheel ( so on the rear it will tend to loosen and spew its respective pawls and springs all over the floor ). You could either try some heavy threadlock, or weld it which I did for my dirt jumper
  8. Love it! shame about the original paintwork, was a massive fan of the old colour scheme, but this does look really nice.

  11. No worries, it will improve over time as well
  12. Sanding the paint off the back of the pads normally helps a fair bit
  13. Tru-all tyres and burns and that would be perfect for me! looks lovely
  14. Really enjoyed that Rich, one of your best for sure.
  15. I agree with what Forteh said...grease up everything except the sq taper
  16. As below, Anything under the 1000 mark is short...anything over 1015 is long really; but you have to remember its the reach that makes the difference!! First we need to define what he means by street... TGS which is where the long bike comes in. If youre looking at street as in a bmx style ride, then shorter is better to increase manouverability.
  17. Highest front end ever! Looks sweet though
  18. That's how try-all cranks come... I made a less pretty job of my RS7's
  19. Echo slaves have more 'ankle clearance' so shouldnt hit the crank. With new Coust pads and the slaves right out my brake is at about the right place but the cranks catch...i ended up filing my cranks down a bit to round off the ends. Check out the picture below of the try-alls for an idea of what to do if you follow this route.
  20. Looks ace mart, when are you riding next?
  21. Looks ace, yours was the inspiration for me to get mine about a year ago
