  1. The sprocket and arm come off together, profiles are incredibly crude in that their "tool" is in essence a bolt you threadd into the bb axle, hold onto the crank arm, and twat top push the bottom bracket out of the axle ( as opposed to pulling the crank arm off the axle ). There is an aftermarket puller that sits under the bulge in the crankarm and works like a traditional sq taper/isis puller . If youre handy in the workshop making one wouldn't be ridiculous
  2. In reply to Jack Iveson, he got it from Ares who posted in the topic. Bike looks really nice, best looking GU ive ever seen and to Andeee, posting up a picture of a snapped frame when the guys clearly pretty proud of his bike is a pretty ghey thing to do surely? Any bike will break if you beat it to shit, and we all know why they tend to break at the fore bash mount...im sure stunt man T is more than aware!
  3. The onza calipers when setup and not contaminated are nearing a BB7 in power on the bikes that i've used. On the downside the levers are manky and they're very fiddly to set-up satisfactorily. ( Try an avid lever if youve got the standard onza one, something like an SD7 or sd5
  4. I'd definitely stay on a stock; if you can do all the trials techniques ( whatever level of skill, or competence ) then a big bike will only help ( in my experience ).
  5. Same problem for me... anything above 40" I cannot do, but I can fly up 40 with ease. As soon as the wall goes above bar I feel like I'm just going to sidehop into my legs, or land on my hands. Edit: If anyone thinks of a way to get around this block, or ways to work on it besides keep trying to go a little higher i really would love to hear it ! ( I'll happily chuck myself into a gap to front, or a tap though )
  6. That tailwhip on the rail looked incredible filmed with the go-pro...pretty much the only really good use of one that I've seen! Good to see you back G!
  7. Has the TPA stripped it's thread ( unlikely but possible ) Undo the TPA all the way out ( not so the dust seal goes past the chamfered lip ) when you now squeeze the lever, do the pads move instantaneously or is there a dead bit of lever travel before the pads start moving?
  8. tis an 07 Nice bike though.
  9. The piston has swelled, youre right in saying that but unfortunately the only way around this is to remove the o-ring and sand the piston down until the diameter is small enough for free movement in the cylinder Tarty Adam will probably be along shortly to explain why. Edit: For the scientific explanation, click http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/163793-using-water-and-got-sticky-pistons/page__hl__sticky+pistons
  10. really bloody good liam, have to try and catch back up with you now!
  11. 2004 shape bodies, splitter and RB designs blades. The 05's as pointed out were riddled with design flaws. Once you make your own TPA for an 04, or use a different lever you're sorted.
  12. Those comps feeel mint with a t-master stem. Liams felt pretty good with the bonz too, id just take the spacers out and run it as is, then just play with bar angle personally.
  13. bars dont make too much of an impact...if it were me id go for the highest rise bars i could coupled with the right stem to suit my bike ( which for me is an onza master stem on most mods )
  14. cheers Paul, you should come down again mate!
  15. more aggressive technique, isnt as smooth maybe? or... trials components aren't the highest quality in the world of cycling so the strength probably isn't all that consistent? Maybe he got a couple of " bad" forks with minor defects?

    Pure Vs Sl

Echo went 116mm in 07 and that died out... cannot understand why Koxx ( and thus echo ) have decided to go back to this. If anything, in my opinion, we should be looking at 150mm rear ends.
  17. Fresh grind to clean rim Extend slave pistons and clean and lightly re-lube Sand pads flat Clean any excess oil off chain, anything visible is too much it only really needs to be inside the rollers.
  18. Sweet video Ozzy, you seems to have loads more confidence and the last up was naice
  19. You know what you need to do Cheers mate! You got any plans to come down again in the future? Thanks Joe, means a lot Cheers mate Hah, yeh he loves it.. cheers Quite the compliment mate! Really appreciated Ahhh thanks, its the bike not the rider Cheers Matt hopefully ride soon!
  20. Hi there! Just finished editing my third video on the zhi, I cant believe i've had it for over a year now, how time flies! really getting on with it though, mainly because of my height i thinks. Music is my Parov Stelar, and some people may recognise the tune from elsewhere All filmed in Cornwall as usual. I hope you enjoy, and please comment / like the video would be appreciated. Cheers, Alex http://vimeo.com/40923418
  21. Thats what I rode for quite a while when it was all built up ( mavis 729/721, rear der kaiser and fox vanilla forks ) was sweet to bomb it to work, and did some trials when i was waiting for the train
  22. Looks cool, same geo as mine You out and about for a ride soon?
  23. With a standard ISO king you can only convert to 15mm bolt through, or you buy a specific 20mm bolt through iso Disc hub. ( they also sell a 24mm through hub too ). They don't make a bolt on hub that will fit trials standard 9mm/10mm dropouts im afraid, and if you drilled and tapped the axle out on a quick release version to M6 bolts you would loose the hex interface that allows you to unscrew the axle apart. Only solution would be making a new axle on a lathe with a slightly different fitting system I guess?
