2nd year apprentice vehicle technician for BT. currently aint recieved me 2nd year payrise yet, which will put me on like £8.70 an hour as an apprentice. job aint too hard, get sent to college in bristol, which is basically a 2 week long piss up every 8 weeks. i get cheaper gym membership, broadband,phone, etc. free shares, decent pension plan etc.

yea, thats wat i meant by hc reading, the unburnt fuel out of its ass. if its carb(i suspect its not) may need jetting an resetting up, if youve got a non interference injection, may be worth gettin the timing checked(altho it wud most likely run like a bag a crap too) is it missing at all?? car an engine size wud help a lot(i seem to remember u saying it was a 106, but its time since i spoke to you, so may of got blurred with someone else, or you may of changed the car) other things can be checked on an old car, throttle opening etc, leaks between the AFM and the inlet manifold, check make sure the inlet manifold is on securely, perhaps remove it from the head an check for coke build up. also just noticed, you aint changed your AFM, would be my first port of call if i had this problem, above all the other stuff youve done and ive mentioned. also bear in mind, youve changed these sensors, but could just as easily be a broken wire leading to one of the sensors.

its all up to you on the numbers game, but it dont really matter, 1 or 2's ok for small safe gapping, wanna be able to do controlled static hops though, preparing you for gapping, pedal kick right ot the edge of a kurb an hop statically for as long as u can before going off the edge. also for gettin further, imagine ur bike goin wer its pointed, front wheel up, most of the energy goes up , front wheel pointing forwards a couple of inches off the ground, ur gunna go mainly forwards. so basically keep trying to static an pedal hop with the front lower,practise bringing it up an down using static hops. to get gapping nice an far, lower the front right down, to match this, ur arse will be right over the back of the bike, arms almost straight, then pedal kick, throwin urself forwards as much as u can, a lot of its body english. once ur in the air, with the bike almost vertical, straighten ur legs right out pushin the back wheel forwards into the landing, lock ur brake nice an hard, an momentum will balance u back out(first few times ull end up dropping the front right back down, but ull get the hang of hangin further back on landing an letting it balance itself out)

i think its case dependant, had/have a work experience lad at work(finished his course at college about 6 years ago, still comes one day a week every week). aparently when he was like 15-16, he was the same nevr even spoke to his next door neighbour, had problems whenever someone came into his house unless he knew them well. but speaking to him now, apart from the fact after a few minutes you can tell hes mentally undeveloped in many areas. you wouldnt know hes got any communication issues. dont think hell ever hold down a full time job, purely because of the thought processes he has to go through to do anything,his short attention span,and problems with logical thinking(the lad can drive perfectly safely, but could never have him on the roads, because when we miss a turn, we either think of an alternative route, or turn around at the next available option, with him, because of the way his mind works, he doesnt work that way and would simply go to pieces)

yea vitos and sprinters are amazing vans, and good value for money, just a lil too big for what he wants i fear, and there not to cheap on the insurance front either. but if ur gunna get a big van, along with the mercs, check out the 2000+ transits(ones from bt are low mileage full servce history etc - shameless plug i know), an the vw transporters. or, why get a van, why not get a nice discovery tdi, are semi common in van form, cheap as chips, reliable, fun off road, capable off road, loadsa room, an being a car(Well 4x4) derived van, seats are readily available from scrappy an seat belt mounting points will come pre fitted

sorry to disagree on this, but escort vans, in my opinion, are the worst vans ever, and jst to be picky, there 1.8's, not 1.9's aint they. berlingos are the only other vans in that list ive had experience with, an are better than escorts. but mk4 astra vans are brilliant in 1.7 cdti form. but if you could stretch to it, transit connect, side loading door, 1.8 common rail turbo diesel engine(aka mk1 focus diesel engine) higher roof line(could stand bikes upright in them, wheels in), are faster than the escorts, as economical, handle better, and dont feel to vannish. also escorts are prone to rot, and connects hold there value a lot better. if your gunna get a van, make it a connect or a mk4 astra

may well be cartilidge the way you describe it, know a bloke at the gym, who tore the cartilidge in his wrist, could still bench like a mother, do chin ups etc, but try get him to rotate his wrist, the bloke couldnt turn a key without yelping in pain, because of the way he tore it. may be similar here, because of the tear/damage, whenever your wrist compresses to meet your forearm. at a guess on a 120 min dvd , youll get on a dvd in dvd format 120 minutes(add a couple of extra minutes for finalizing etc) the movies you get which are super long, barely ever exceed 4 hours a disk, so youll never fit a whole series on one disc, when you buy a season 1 boxset, its a set in a box, normally comprising 3 - 7 dvds with about 4 episodes per disc, which is wat id be hoping for on yours, which youd just achieve, 4 episodes per disk, its only 6 dvds at the end of the day)
