  1. I have a plan which I think would combine both being personal and also being practical. Each send Dave a photo 6x4 and write a small message on it with a marker pen. Then (if you'd be willing - I certainly wouldn't mind doing it myself if time etc is an issue) sticking them all into a small scrap book. I'm sure we could get a good 50 or so photos in there and it would contain some lovely messages. Without him I would never have got into the sport.
  2. In. Will gladly chip in for a pressie too. This needs a new topic.

  5. I know the postage thread exists but I need a quick answer then this can be closed. Need to book a courier for friday, any recommendations? Recently tried to post a bike but noone would accept it, anyone else having this trouble lately?
  6. Racks George. Halfords staff
  7. I'm in the exact same situ, sure I've been in the dog house for 2 weeks and it actually makes me feel so crap. Asked her about it and she blames it on another issue not regarding me, I'm not convinced.
  8. Over the past year I've had: Rubber Queen 2.2, Rubber Queen 2.4, Der Kaiser and a Try All Sticky Lite (all with lightweight tubes). I wouldn't go for a Rubber Queen again. The bounce they give feels almost unpredictable and a bit wacky. They give the bike a really unstable feel and tend to pinch fairly easy. Really not a fan of how they make your riding look either. Kaiser's are incredible tyres, yes a little fat when new but chop a few nobbles off and you're not far off the weight of a Rubber Queen anyway. Super stable, very hard to pinch, amazing grip. Try All Sticky Lite is by far the best 26" option in my opinion. Really light, amazing grip, enough bounce so that it's not throwing you all over the place on the rear wheel.
  9. Can't really go wrong with either. Iain rennie manages to though
  10. I wouldn't. They're good but don't seem to be consistent. I have always sworn by cousts if you're running a grind, but i'm currently running adms on the rear and they're absolutely amazing.
  11. This is sweet! Love the green and silver, bet it's so fun on 2 wheels. Yeah as above, 2004 magura hs33
  12. Let's not rule it out eh.
  13. Been looking for someone to rent my room in Leeds. Bloke named Gary gets in touch via email the other day, extremely interested. Arranged to go and view it today, as the other boys were in. Got a phone call about an hour ago from a housemate in tears laughing.. Gary is in fact a grey haired 50 year old ex marine. But, he's taken the room for a month (better than nothing) and the boys are happy to live with him haha!
  14. Kinda ok vid, but far too many rear wheel moves. And a nasty style.
  15. Hi mate, I live in Brighton There's Paul and Dez that live in Worthing, as well as Lee. Then there's Jake in Lewes and Josh in Eastbourne. Give us a shout!
  16. The bars are spot on, cannot fault them. The forks I'm not so sure about.
  17. This is long gone as it was a piece of cheese
  18. I actually like the old school camera vibe. Nice tune as well! So good to see an instant improvement in someone's riding just via a change of bike. Let's ride soon, show me how this street lark is done!
  19. Hey g. You're a fanny. That isn't the word I typed.
  20. Will take proper pics in daylight tomorrow
  21. Just stripped the entirety of my bike, and it looks fookin sick!
