  1. I'm having issues making my Netgear DG834G V4 (DGTeam firmware) work on my new O2 internet connection. Would very much like it to work. It finds the DSL, and can tell me the speed of the line and the amount of noise on it, but it can't connect. Anyone using either this router or one of the O2 ADSL2+ packages?
  2. You're not supposed to do that. Either the kite was too powerful for his weight, or he just couldn't control it. Feel bad for the fella though.
  3. Cinema is a good call in this case IMO. You've already had some physical contact, so dark room with no talking seems like a good plan to me... After all, it's been a while right?
  4. Stay inside on Chit-Chat pressing F5 repeatedly.
  5. Hmmm, sounds like she's either a hermit or a nutter. Run Dan, run away as fast as your tiny tiny legs will carry you.
  6. If she's stunningly fit with no face, she must have an amazing body. I'm guessing with no face she can't talk either? Perfect. Wed it.

    Freeganism?

I would do it if someone I knew was going. I'm poor, and food is my biggest spend at the moment.
  8. I think a bit of clarification on the definition of "selfish" is needed here. I can't see anything can look at it as anything but selfish really, but it's not something that can be chosen or controlled. My uncle hung himself about 4-5 years ago, destroyed the entire extended family and we're still not "over it" yet. I don't really blame him though, he battled for 20 odd years with depression and suicidal episodes, but always did his best to make sure it had as little effect on the people he cared about as possible. Always worked, did a good job as well getting promotions and stuff, never claimed a single benefit or anything like that. Before he killed himself, he completely sorted his life out. He told everyone he was going through a rough patch, and was going to stay with his mother, and packed up all of his stuff, most of it being marked for the tip but a everything useful was carefully boxed up and labeled. (Made life so much easier when my Dad and I went to empty the house, just carried what was left to the pickup and then took it to the tip He updated his will, and (I think) even had all the utilities and bills canceled or disconnected (because he was moving back to his Mum's for an indefinite period). I don't think it was ever his intention to get to his Mum's, he was just making sure there was as little paperwork and clearing up for the family to do as possible. He didn't leave a note, but it had been a 20+ year struggle that we all knew about, and his actions with the house and leaving stuff sorted spoke pretty loudly. That's how to do it without being selfish. I just think that attempted suicide should be an actual attempt, none of this OD bollocks or attempting to slit your wrists, because it rarely works and it just tortures everyone who cares about you. If you're going to do it, make it as pain free for everyone else as possible. Put your affairs in order then do something final, like jumping off a bridge. I realise I take a very hard line, but I'm still pretty sore and angry. An Uncle and a best friend going through this kinda stuff before you hit 20 will do that to you.
  9. If you ride a bike with a +55mm BB and think, "Hmm, this is perfect for me", then try one out with a +80mm bb and think, "f**k me this thing is horrid", a 105mm bb will probably feel worse. It's a justified conclusion.
  10. Using the built in browser? Try Firefox/Opera. Both are fine for me on Android.
  11. It costs money though. Is there a demo? If so I'll give it a whirl.
  12. Think he means there's nothing new in terms of innovation. The bikes and parts available now seem to be pretty similar to the ones I was using 3 years ago, yet in the three year gap between 2001 and 2004, bikes changed from looking like a T-Bird to a Python.
  13. I've read up about it and watched videos, and still don't see the appeal. Basically you sink many, many hours of time into it, and at the end you've got a character with fewer possessions and skills than you have in real life.
  14. Fair enough, I'm pretty much the same, or used to be. Look at my posts from 2 years ago, I was always calling people out and being all seriousface. Your insults need work though. Stooping to making "shit with women" remarks to a computer nerd? Low man. True, but low. (Actually I think Mrs Muel would disagree with that).
  15. That time maybe, (admittedly, you got me good), but how about all the other posts you keep doing on here that always seem to stink of seriousface?
  16. Aye madly. In the last 6 months I've seen All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold, Epica, ReVamp and Soilwork live. Met Corey Taylor at the Stone Sour gig as well, gave him a fag and a big hug. Nope, just jeans and a band t-shirt normally. Don't even have long hair any more lol.
  17. I KNEW you'd reply, I even said to someone on FB that you'd reply as soon as I wrote it. Was my reply not obviously OTT enough? Did you honestly think that's what I actually think? If you knew me at all, you'd know it was a total wind up, and I spend most of my time when I'm "out" in one of the metal clubs in Sheffield. A lot of my friends wear eye-liner and have the kind of hair generally associated with emo/scene kids. It was the sort of thing I'd say to any one of them and we'd have a good laugh. Just because it'd typed on the internet doesn't mean I'm not just trying to have a laugh. Who's narrow-minded and stereotypical now? Straight away you jumped to insulting me, (4 times in one reply, nice), assuming I'm as much of a twat as I make out I have been acting towards you. I've been trying to make a point as to how narrow-minded, opinionated and stereotypical your replies generally are because you never just have a laugh, everything has to be super serious and proven down the last detail. Feel free to ask anyone on here if I normally act like this much of a twat, admittedly I go over the top a lot, but never as much as I have done towards you recently. For f**ks sake lighten up a bit, everything on Trials-Forum, (and especially in Chit-Chat,) needs to be read with a pinch of salt and a smile. There are very few outwardly nasty/opinionated/narrow-minded people on here, we're just having a laugh. You're the one who takes everything so seriously all the time.
  18. Do you shave your legs as well so you can slide into your skinny jeans more easily?

    Films!?

Terrible, yes. But great.... Sorry. I'm just that nerdy.
  20. Holy jesus that's light. When I built my last mod, that was considered rather light for a DD mod, yet it was 8.4kg. This is a whole kilo lighter only 3 years later. Also, it looks quite nice. Out of interest, how much would that kinda thing cost to build these days? Still got that ubersexy stock of yours Ad?
  21. BFBC2, Killing Floor, Crysis Warhead (if you haven't already).
  22. Sounds like what you really want, is rather than spending £200+ getting the XL to run, is to spend £200 on a solid, reliable, well maintained MZ 125, which is taxed and tested (actually is at the moment for a change). Cheapest insurance you'll ever have, racing exhaust system and 2 stroke powah. Yeh but the thread should be in Post A Pic of Your Bike anyway, which is constantly derailed. EDIT: Since when has it been called "The Motorbike Thread"? I never even realised.
  23. Hmmm, I'd say not. It would be a laugh, but it would be so much more fun if it had say 25bhp. I reckon my MZ would be all the bike I'd ever need if it had 20-25bhp. I take my brother on the back a fair bit, it's a right laugh but with 10bhp carrying 13 stone of me and 11 stone of him it just dies when it comes to hills.
