I thought you had an A4 Adam?

Ring tarty, tell them your rim and hub, then order the spokes, they will sort the right legnths.

Glen, stop being such a tit. Get your arse to the nearest college and tell them you want to do a BTEC in something you enjoy, and this time, don't f**k it up! If you go to work in Evan's, you are restricting your options. My mate is doing it the hard way, he did a mechanics apprenticeship, and got himself working in some really decent dealerships earning really decent money, but he can no longer be a mechanic for medical reasons, so he is now 26, still living with his mum and going to college with me three days a week and working his arse off to try and keep his car on the road. If you want to leave education, fair play. Get into an apprenticeship, at least then you will have something worthwhile on your CV! Imagine the scene at a future employers... "Hmm, this lad did an apprenticeship and has a few years experience under him." "This lad has been working at Evan's for the last few years." it's pretty obvious, you will struggle to find work that pays any more than in a bike shop.

I have a Nvidia geforce 4 128mb thing, and it runs stuff like san andreas and need for speed underground 2 well enough.
-
I'm 5'10 and I ride Mod, but it's purely a personal thing, you need to ride both to test them out before you can decide.
-
It's shit, no-one could enjoy it. There are 4 trials riders round here, 2 of which never ride, and one of which is me.
-
It does work, when I put a booster on my brothers bike, the performance did drop slightly, and the noise definately lessened, (good thing), but the amount of flex on his frame made it worth while.
-
I thought it had a 1050 wheelbase or something like, it would be fine to learn the basics and have fun on, which is what your after. But you will probably find that you will upgrade every part on the bike after a year or so, and you would probably do better to buy a second hand bike that has had everything done already. But then again, a second hand bike wouldn't be in as good condition, so you would probably have to replace the work bits anyway... It's up to you matey, I've given my views. It would be a good bike to learn the basics on and have some fun.

It's a T-Rapter with a pretty naff spec. For the price it's pretty good actually. I'd rather have a second hand T-Rex though.
-
Honestly, I'd never buy one. The geo is crap, the frame is basically a T-Rapter, which is heavy, has pretty horrid geometry and has a massive seat tube. The rest of the parts on it will be pretty rubbish in quality. I think you'd be making a big mistake buying one, and you would do much better to get a second hand bike from ebay, such as a T-Rex, as they are pretty nice to ride, and if you buy second hand, you get a much, much better bike for your money. For £450 you could either get a new bike that has a pretty rubbish spec, and a frame that isn't very good, or you could buy a second hand bike with a super spec and a really nice frame, such as anything from Deng.

In my back garden I have a big cotton reel, with a pallet propped against it so I can slap it. Supporting it is two pieces of wood going from the top corners of the pallet to the edge of the reel. This leaves a big gap on either side, and I tried to put my foot down after going for it, and my foot went straight down the hole, and I went off sideways but because my leg was stuck in the hole, I swung over upside down and landed on my head/neck/shoulder. It f**king hurt anyway.

I think that abortion is wrong all the time really, because your effectively ending someones life before it's even begun, and they can't do anything to stop it. But would you rather be raised in an orphanage, or not be born at all? Because growing up in an orphanage can f**k you up, but you'd still be living a life, but if you were never born, you wouldn't know, so you couldn't really give a shit I suppose...
-
Loverly bike you've got there Wes! It doesn't matter if the new frame is a few hundred grams heavier than his old one, he'll still ride it like a beast.

There imight be an easier way. Take off the lever blade. File down the lever stop and refit it. (This will make the lever way to far away from the bar). Bath bleed it in the normal way, with the TPA wound right out. Tighten up the lever reach adjuster so it's in the right place, and the piston in the lever should be in the right place, with the TPA wound right off, and the pistons will move out. It should work I think, the lever piston will be sticking out a bit when you bleed it so it might try and draw some air in, but if you bleed it under water and wind the adjuster in, (Pushing the piston back into the body), then it will seal up properly. I have never done this, it is totally off the top of my head but I think it should work.
-
Do you mean just the lever blade or the whole lever? Whole lever, yes, it can go on the rest of an 04 brake. (Slaves, hose, pads etc). 05 blade on an 04 body, or vice versa, no it won't fit.

I have a project maggy bike as well at the moment. Your grind must have been too harsh, as I did a sharp light grind, as intructed, and it have been ridden for about 2 weeks now with no meddling, and they must be at least 6/7mm left still.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Muel replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
Whats his mum called? Just the first thing I thought about Fatty that I didn't know. -
Check his other topics, they are all like this. I think he thinks he's letting us all know about some updates to do with ytfn, which is a group of riders that make videos, clearly no-one has ever heard of ytfn.

Are Hs33's Better Than Disc Brakes On The Back?
Muel replied to dantpro's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
It wasn't neccarserily aimed at you matey! It's just I hear it all the time, and I find it really easy to just bend them back. Maybe mono trial rotors are easier to bend than others. -
Are Hs33's Better Than Disc Brakes On The Back?
Muel replied to dantpro's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Since when has anyone had to buy a new rotor when you bend it? It takes 2 seconds with you fingers to bend it back. -
Get a 160mm, I run dual 160mm mono trials and they are brilliant. When they are bedded in right they work perfectly. They take ages to bed in properly though, unless you ride up and down some hills and squirt water on them. I just put mud on the rotors, ride round for a few minutes to get them hot, wash the mud off, rinse them out really well, ride it round again until the water has evapourated, then they work perfectly.

Update My Echo Lite 08 Dd With Hope Mono Trial Barkes
Muel replied to czarbikes's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
He has been told about a million times, as you know. He is clearly taking no notice. -
How do you work that out? It doesn't matter whether the freewheel is on the back or the front, it still turns the same way, and therefore, the lockring screws on the same way.
