  1. Started my new job at my old place today. Awesome so far. Project "save up for a car and shit loads of climbing gear and a house with a garage and several motorbikes to put in the garage and a workshop to work on the bikes in and a new computer and maybe a holiday too" is go.
  2. Vacking chitty wack peds! (Everyone remember that video?)
  3. That's Higgar Tor right? I'm sure that's Burbage North in the background. Smart bike anyway.

    Films!?

I saw it, thought it was awesome. Easily my favourite film from the last 12 months.

    The Angry Thread.

Can't believe I just read all of that shit... You wanna build muscle? Carry them doing shoulder presses and curls as you travel across the car park.
  6. Pfft just get it through an MOT then take the silencer off. Job done.
  7. Exaust is fiinneee, just weld up the holes if it has any. Looks fairly smart.
  8. Can't see it being much more than that either. Yeh it is but we're fairly sure the battery is knackered. But that costs money to replace and if you bump start it then it goes.
  9. Haha, good lad. What about insurance? I was out on my brother's bike today (my old MZ). Such a heap of shite haha. It's running pretty badly and feels like it's making about 5bhp. He reckons it's a weak spark, think I agree.
  10. Yay! When's your CBT booked? Or have you done it already?
  11. Soooo, 10 years ago today David Jefferies died at the Isle of Man. Still remember it like it was yesterday, which is wierd as I rarely "connect" with a particular racer over another. Meh, RIP.
  12. Nope. And if you're joking, I don't get it so please explain.
  13. There's a reason that almost all bikes use 12v now. 6v is OK but not really powerful enough for a lot of stuff. Maybe nearly as fast as the CB250T, but not the CB250RS if you ask me. The RS had 28bhp and weighed roughly the same but handled quite a lot better. (Not that the 125 handles badly or anything. They still handle better than CGs I believe).
  14. They're fairly nice little bikes I believe, but unfortunately that year had the 6 volt electrics... Good enough if you keep all the connections clean and decent though. I'm not certain but I think it was pegged at being a littler version of the CB250RS, which are fantastic bikes. Always wanted one of those. Should be fun!

    Printers

    Read the posts again dude.

    Printers

Still not found a decent one? Me neither. I had one from 2001 until last year that was brilliant, finally upgraded because it wouldn't work well with W7, and my new printer is shit.
  17. Are they definitely the same? That's me told! I was sure tubes usually had a really fine pitch on the thread...
  18. I wouldn't do this as I'm fairly certain the pitch on the thread is wrong, and would damage the thread in the slave. I'd just use a crossover and attach a presta valve pump to it. (That's how I've done it in the past).

Looks like a bit of a twonk.

    Picture should be posted here.
  21. The only people I know who have it well done are a very womanly lad, and another that looks like Justin Bieber.

    Insurance

Nothing at the moment, for I am a very poor man with nowhere to keep a bike. As soon as I've sorted a job (nearly done) and a house/flat with a garage (about a year away) then I'll be filling it with bikes. Not that any of that changes what kind of bikes I prefer...
  23. Probably won't help, as the spacers are aluminium and so are the dropouts, I'd order some of these if I were you. In fact I once had some in the shed and I think I used them to solve this problem, but it will have been about 5-7 years ago so my memory is a bit hazy haha. Either these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170852007642 Or these (but they may be too aggressive): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370820758607 If you put them in between the dropout and the hub, and on the outside between the dropout and the hub bolt and lamp them up tight, it should sort it.
  24. Peasant. It's got to be rare to be decent!

    Insurance

Nah but I know someone who had one. From what I've heard they're very smooth and refined and well behaved, I prefer bikes that are a bit more rough and ready and aggressive.
