Bad times dude. What case, PSU and motherboard will you have in it? I have the 965BE (is it that one?), it's still a solid CPU. Upgrade to an SSD at the same time!
  2. When I rode the only people I ever saw were comp riders who did enjoy bar angles a bit too much. It just killed my passion for the sport, so even though I live in Sheffield now with loads of other riders I've got no desire to get back into it. There were a few riders I saw regularly who weren't that fussed by such things and just got on with it, but I didn't get to see them often enough. I think rolling your bars to that angle is silly really, but I understand that I'm not a world level rider, so I just accept/ignore it. It's the constant threads and comments about it that remind me of going on rides with people who spoke about that sort of stuff at length, instead of riding their bikes... I didn't quit because of anything in particular, just didn't like where the sport was going. It just bored me too much. Since then the whole "street" movement has gone much bigger with the aid of Danny Mac and Inspired making bikes with seats and OBM making pretty sick videos of the kind of riding I wanted to be doing then, but at the time there weren't any riders with that mindset nearby. Meh, got other things to get on with now.
  3. Only in trials would people give a flying f**k about the ANGLE of someone else's handlebars. This is why even the roadies think trials riders are gay, and why I quit.
  4. Does it really need doing? If the door still works I'd ask her what it's worth to her to settle without bothering the insurance companies, and pocket the cash.
  5. Hugs dude. Is your trials bike a 125? Otherwise you won't be able to ride it for 2 years right?

Well, one-armed man-hug as he thanked me for the fag. Then again for a photo. He is a tiny, tiny little man. Can't have been more than 5'7".
  7. Yeh, they're all cheating scum too. Much like speeding, just because everyone does it doesn't make it acceptable. If they just removed all the rules, then there would be no cheating. They'd all die of heart failure at 24, but that would be their choice to make.
  8. Utter scumbag. He had an unfair advantage over those who didn't want to use performance enhancers, or just couldn't afford them, and then claimed for years that he was just superhuman.
  9. How on earth do you get a set of piston rings to last for 220k? Or has it been rebored? I come from a background of 2 stroke bikes, so I'd consider 7.5k good without a rebore.

I've seen loads of the earlier episodes, and thought they weren't funny enough. (Mind you it's probably just not my sort of humor). I like Stone Sour. Been to see them live in Leeds when they played with Avenged Sevenfold. Ended up chatting to Corey Taylor for a good 20 mins or so and gave him a cigarette. He gave me a hug.

So just like every episode ever then?
  12. We had some in Sheffield today. It melted.

Someone has signed up the correct spelling (mis-spelling IMO) of my name: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/user/34851-mule/ Let the confusion begin.

Bastards. Did they get hold of anything?
  16. I'm guessing it's an attempted (and failed) "troll", judging from Rob's past posts...

b*****d shitty wank computers. I got up early to get a load of uni work done, and my computer is fecked. Starting to look like my day will actually be spent reinstalling windows.

Tried all the standard tricks? I cut one quote by 40% just by adding my parents as named drivers. Doesn't matter that they live 40 miles away and would never drive it, apparently that lowers my risk of crashing.
  19. I don't see the issue? She was pissed up, hugged another dude, felt guilty, thought she came across as rude towards the polish and apologised? If that pisses you off, you ain't gonna be happy with a single girl in our generation.
  20. Is it a powered one you've ordered? I had a quick look into this because I had time this morning. The issue is that USB ports adhere to a standard that only requires them to provide 0.5A (or 0.9A if they're USB3). Most modern motherboard manufacturers provide way above that, my motherboard for example gives 1.5A. (3 times the standard). To put the issue into perspective, iPads require 2.1A to charge, and iPhones require 1.0A to charge at full speed. If the amperage they're provided with drops, they'll either charge slowly or not at all. If you use an unpowered hub on a 0.5A port, then each port on the hub may be receiving far less than that. 8 ports getting fed 0.5A gives 0.0625A each, whereas some powered hubs however support up to 2.5A per socket. If you have an iPad or iPhone, you're always better charging them from a wall charger really.
  21. I've got a powered hub somewhere, never had an issue with it.
  22. Do you want to look like a crumpled old warlock? Nah me neither. As Steel Panther said "Death to all but metal". EDIT: I'm not serious btw.
