That's completely different, you can't disprove gravity or aerodynamics, but the effect of chocolate depends on a massive number of other factors. All they can ever say about chocolate is "In these circumstances, this is proven. In other circumstances, this is unproven." It's definitely not, in any way, guesswork though. They guess at a hypothesis, then prove or disprove it, so it's pretty much the opposite of guessing. (I'm talking about actual scientific experiments, not made up pharmaceutical trials and stuff).

Sounds to me like it's just a compound thing, lots of life-stuff combining together to make for a very frustrated/negative atmosphere. Things in common though you say? Trip sounds good, I'd just try to go into it with the mindset of leaving the shit behind. Maybe try to work a surprise for her into it? Like a little "Thanks for putting up with me for being grumpy" thing? I find that sort of thing helps us both, might work for you?

I feel like that from time to time, it's natural dude. During times of massive stress I find I just direct a lot of my frustrations onto her. Try to deal with the shit, rather than taking it out on her. I know sometimes that's easier said than done, (I can't just sack off uni, for example, even though I hate it and consider it to be one of the worst decisions I ever made), but there are ways and means. Have you tried getting away for a weekend or just a day out? Try doing similar stuff to the kind of thing you did when you last felt all loved up.

As far as I know, it's not illegal to download telly that was recorded in the same country that you live in. That is my understanding, but my understanding is many years old and I could have just assumed it then, so best not to take it as read.

Sounds like she needs booting. I've always been of the opinion that if you need to have a break, then it's not going to last. I've had what I consider some huge arguments with my missus and we've not come close to being "off". Hope you get it sorted anyway dude.

Why do you need to plug your laptop into a DVD recorder? If you want to record something, couldn't you just get a screen recording program?

I'd never use them anywhere, far too weak for my liking. I used mainly stainless ones throughout my last build, apart from the rear Pro 2 bolts and crank bolts which were titanium. (Possibly the front hub bolts as well). If I were to ever build again, I'd use all stainless ones for M6 and below, and titanium above that. Not a fan of titanium bolts in aluminium threads... They seemed to corrode together, or something.

There's been a lot of shit about that recently, basically the only people you can trust is eBuyer. I'd ask for a full refund and order another. I was really tempted the other day when they were £184 with £100 cashback, but my current server is ticking along nicely. I'm just going to wait for the ML110 to come on cashback again. It worked out at around £250 last time it was on, but has a quad core Xeon and will take 32gb of RAM.

Meh, it really annoys me when people can't put the tiny amount of effort into their posts that is required to use sentences. I rarely bother picking people up on it any more though, it's a lost cause. Nobody can speak or write correctly any more! (Neither can I btw).

Heard that kinda shit so many times, but I really don't buy it. I was a massively heavy drinker for a couple of years, as were all my mates, and none of us have any visible symptoms of long-term damage. The 3/4 heavy stoners I know, however, definitely show signs of long-term damage, like slow speech, going off on random tangents in the middle of someone else talking, not listening to people, and not getting upset about things when they really should. Less addictive? Again, I've known 3/4 heavy stoners who all struggled to kick it after a couple of years of daily use (even if they switched to normal fags), yet after a couple of years of drinking heavily, none of my mates are having "issues". Also only known of a couple of occasions in my life when I saw anyone getting violent because of alcohol. Far more occasions than that when sober! Just from my experience. I could easily be totally wrong!
