  1. Good ride today me knobbers! From what I've read on here, a lot of the UK comp scene is up that way, there's even an indoor trials den you lucky beggar.
  2. Scott mate!! We gotta get some riding in before you go, its been too long. I'll get hold of you when the weathers good again
  3. Really, really liked that, miles of style
  4. It does? I can't seem to get it right on my bike the stays must be slightly longer than I thought.
  5. If a certain company could make a slightly smaller pitch chain and sprocket so that 18:15 gearing would = 380mm stays, I would be very interested How about a spring loaded BB that you could load up with massive tension by pedalling backwards a few times till you hear a loud 'click' and then release the tension (with maybe a button on the handlebar) causing your pedal kick to be massively amplified sending the bike and rider into the atmosphere
  6. Some 26" frames that are simple, affordable, under 2kgs and have geometries around 383, +40/45 bb, 72* and roughly 1075 mm wheelbase. Would prefer vertical dropouts too.
  7. Sorry I couldn't ride, my mum needed me to help her lift something and when I got there, the house was full of lovely food. Was really good to see you all in one big group though. Eat and be merry everyone
  8. Drink this over a day Adam, did me a world of good
  9. You could use string. It would take a lot of work for not much change but I'd really like to try out a modern 25" trials bike.

Try eating a banana before bed, or get someone to inject you with caffeine in the morning.
  11. It would be nice to have a super reliable 15t freewheel mounted onto a compatible hub.
  12. This statement is bullcrap unfortunately, just ridden through town, all the spots are covered in ice and the sun ain't gonna melt through before Friday The Tors on the moors are still sweet though ay Max!
  13. We'll be able to sort out some fun, I'll keep an eye on here if you need anywhere to stay.

  17. The dangle in her angle thread is still topping the chit chat list 10 months on
  18. F*ckin lol. If its enamel, you need to call a specialist, who are usually expensive. If its plastic you can fix it piece of piss if you have: a die grinder, some spirit type cleaner preferably acetone, some white gelcoat + catalyst, a pencil shaped piece of plastic or wood to blob the gel into the outermost cracks, a wooden block 4" x 2" x 1", 180p sandpaper, 1200p wet and dry paper, a bottle of 3M fast cut cutting compound, some mutton cloth or any rag. Thats one way to do it, should be plenty strong enough but if you're worried about it breaking there are other ways. if not it will either be awkward to do or it will grate at your ass whenever you bathe
  19. Gotta get some mistletoe on the handlebars, I might even decorate my tyres with metal spikes.. nah weather looks ok according to the MOD, above freezing and no rain . Anybody can stay at my house if they like, room for loads of people, just make yerself at home

  21. You definitely win 'Slimfast slimmer of the week' Mike. Excellent idea though, this should be the standard 4-bolt mount fitment, it seems like it puts way less stress on the bolts with the cylinder supported directly by the frame. And Si, that splitter I bought off here was utter dogshite haha.
  22. Cheers dude 1. I used to be a CNC machinist so I have a few mates who still work there to make things for me. 2. I got myself a normal braided crossover, cut it in half and bought two extra hose connectors. The hose from the lever is still plastic. 3. If I'm reading this right you need to change one of your slaves for one with both the holes the same size M6/M6. Or you could get an M8 shroud nut and glue a short M6 bolt in there, (score the inside of the shroud nut and use strong 2-part glue) effectively making an M8 fine bolt. Best to buy a new slave though Yesterday the brake received its xmas pressie early
  23. Well this is Plymouth at the moment, and this is my house,
