Oh yea I see what you mean, thanks for the advice you've been a great help in choosing parts for me recently

    Cranks

Jeese, they look mint apart from the obvious! Wonder what made them so weak compared to the Try-Alls So are the new Rockmans the ones with the pockets machined out up the sides?

Not sure whether to go for the Try-All ISIS or the Rockman Lite cranks in 175mm. Which would you choose? Are they pretty much identical? Cheers
  6. Nice find, I never new it was 44mm, I now have a choice of 1 rims. The weight of it won't stop me buying another spank rim though. Echo SL is flawed by design, doesn't stay round, it gets flat spots if you hit an edge with certain parts of the rim.
  7. Hi Glynn, I've put a marker down which was nice and simple, very impressed! afterwards I noticed I could become a local at upto 4 spots, clicked on 'become a local' which brings up the 'your local spots' popup but the 'add local spots' buttons are incomplete, they appear as thin lines instead of rectangles so the words cannot be read. I'm using chrome
  8. I would like more choice of 40-44mm wide rear rims, we really don't need that extra few mm like on all the wide tractor rims. The Echo SL's are weak if you hit them in the wrong place, so yea, just a nice normal 40-44mm wide rim please
  9. Almost every stock bike has a bash guard, unless they want to risk damaging their freewheel/sprocket.
  10. You can still salvage the TPA from your broken mess and use it to modify an old lever like so: best of both worlds
  11. Rotor on the wrong way round causes it to warp pretty quick.
  12. Sounds awesome!! It would be rude not too
  13. Ha, I came first in a Boots beauty contest back in '89, was in the paper and everything, something went drastically wrong since then
  14. A load of blank canvasses if you ask me, ready to be nurtured.

    Films!?

A Scanner Darkly, I Spit On Your Grave, Rampage, Dead Mans Shoes, A Serbian Film? you've probably seen them though
  16. If you're learning and your back brake lets go all of a sudden, or your feet slip forward off the pedals and you fall backwards, you can properly hit your head and it may mess you up for good. I definitely recommend wearing a helmet for these reasons
  17. Exactly, I've seen people get proper sour about the whole thing, most notably at that big London ride in '09, I do what I want now f*ck off!
  18. Nah, its just the OP got a cut on his head (skin damage) starts this topic and everyone brings out them 'wear your helmet' emotions. You'll be ok mate.. chill. If you wear one that's fine, if someone asks weather they should wear one then tell them to wear one, just don't get all high and mighty when you see someone who doesn't, it's fookin lame.
  19. How can people be so anal about helmets then go out riding without their neck braces on? Think what your life would be like with a broke neck o my, better stay in bed where its safe
  20. Sure is, well my choice for next frame was between a fans or a wip so thanks josh you made my mind up for me, hope you get a frame sorted
  21. You'll be going on about ring testing them next A good tip is to take time setting up your bike and maintaining it, saves a lot of time when you're out riding
  22. It's ok, my comment was actually aimed at mat hudson who thinks Obama would stand up and lie to the thousands of people related to those killed in 9/11. I should have quoted him really
