mine rides alreeet. i dont run gears. shorter axle = STRONGER less chance of snapping. depending on what hub you use it makes a stronger wheel imo. i have a deng hub. yes its the original one i recieved, i have had an axle made for 8mm allen key bolts. wheeel is great. anyway to the frame. less sticking out...its for those who dont want wheels. i think its the way forward to be honest, its just unfortunate that it isnt as compatible with the modern wheel and drive chain components. although when hope make the pro II mod hub or you buy a bmx king hub then i think it will start becoming more common. lets be honest i think the majority dont use gears...so surely making a frame rear end thinner to reduce the stress on the frame / axle etc can only be a good thing. also horizontal dropouts rule. although snail cams DONT

So since im in final year of uni, and working as well, riding has taken a back seat for a while. i got my 07 adamant up and running and am now feeling alot more comfortable on it. Chris should u not jsut maybe take the posts that aren't directly related to chain tensioners and put them in their own topic about th argument. although at times it makes very funny reading with the bitchy-ness of it all, it does have some points raised and opinions that certain people should be taking note of regarding the competition world. which reminds me....i need to speak to some folk about our scottish competitions. (we dont have any gears required) haha on a more specific note. the gears rule is something im not commenting on. if i rode comps seriously i would be riding it for the sake of the banter. If i cant ride the very top class just because i havent aquired enough championship points to move from a lower ranking because of my lack of gears (not that im good enough to ride the very top level) then im nae really that fussed. i go to support trials. BUT its off puting for newcomers.....

yup, i was a high bb guy +55 ish, but now the new adamant suits me much better in my opinion. suits me. and as im ALMOST as OLD as rowan i also find the higher bb gives me a sore back (cos i run a low front end set up) (yes i have tried higher). im the man anyway. do as i say. not that ALi C fella. he is a gorilla

i think ur slightly daydreaming myself, 50k for someone who is 18. im not so sure to be honest. my dads on no more than that and he was the OIM (offshore installation manager) basically the effin captain. someone is bunking up the amount you get paid. and i certainly dont think you will be earning 50K as soon as you hit 18. and sometimes you do exaggerate gav. seriously exaggerate.....
