  1. So stop fannying around on shit ground and go ride some street?
  2. Was that heat-treated by being thrown in a bonfire?
  3. Yeah i'm in Brighton for a while yet! Come for a beer.
  4. Just had a chat with mrs Skoze and I think we've realised our plans for the next few years are completely different. Bit annoying.
  5. 10 in 63 years. I'll get my coat.
  6. If you read my post you'd see the answer to the first part of that - as for date it is tbc This is the first day i've had to myself for the past month or so.
  7. The thing with 660s, Pashleys, Zebdis etc is that you always remember them riding a lot better than they actually do I think I had a Thomson 90x15 with some 2.5 Azonics on mine and that was actually quite nice, the Pashley forks tend to ruin things through the medium of weigh distribution. Put some Fattys on it!
  8. You're a cool guy. Whitchurch Road and the surrounding areas for me. (I ride 24, so give that bad boy to someone who'll use it)
  9. Been doing the rounds then! But yeah, I nabbed the forks as soon as I saw them come up for mine (which did indeed come from a real cool guy), then realised Ben should probably get riding again and Ian didn't need a frame collecting dust. Result; two Arcades coming together and he paid less for the frame than I did the forks Looks real good mate, looking forward to joining you on the mean streets...
  10. Just got a call from the Editor of one of the magazines I work with, i've got to drive a long wheelbase series 3 landy with an asthmatic NA 2.5 diesel from Malaga, through the centre of Spain to Santander week after next. Sweet.
  11. Quoted for future generations. Fiver on Syphilis.
  12. I knew Poland was hard but Jesus, what happened?
  13. I sincerely hope it all kicks off when they start seriously meddling with things. I'd be surprised if the majority of Tory voters knew quite what they were voting for, there's an awful lot of questionable practices/ ideas behind the scenes.
  14. Exactly what Jolfa said, get it sorted properly - he sounds like a right fanny.
  15. No news yet. Everyone will kick off if this runs a week on sunday, so I propose we postpone the ride for a date towards the end of the month/ june, perhaps as a more general memorial ride/ start-of-summer get together down in Pompey - what do you reckon?
  16. I'm yet to see an Inspired split down the middle of a tube, or any disc mounts having decided to completely GTFO but yeah - good point well presented
  17. Which surely says more about the state of the current trials scene if both competing camps are selling out their gear without too much trouble than a straight up 'x is better'.
  18. What makes sun blindness racecar?
  19. Oi mayte yous one of them fookin muslamics? where's yer tache yer dickhead?
  20. Guy on facebook is excited to 'fit forge recirc and forge dump valve' on his Megane.
  21. Sorry, bit busy finishing my degree. Will text Sue tomorrow

    Films!?

Just got back from seeing Montage of Heck. Jesus Christ. I'm utterly done for the day after that. Thoroughly recommended, would like to see the dvd release with the Dave Grohl interviews included, was a big missing piece/ elephant in the room.
  24. That's not *quite* how the geo works when the two are compared. The Skye is shortest, but the Arcade has a shorter rear end by nearly 20mm, higher bb and steeper head angle making it the streetier of the two. There's only 10mm in the wheelbase and 20mm in terms of reach, so it's pretty similar in that respect. The Skyes i've ridden have always felt tiny but that could just be down to individual set up and stem choice (the last one I rode had a 70mm stem on so was pretty tight)
