My cat's been fine to me, mum hated them before, but she gets on with it ok! They don't take much to look after, just feed them twice a day and take them to the vets as and when they need it and you'll be fine They seem to be naturally house trained so to speak, mine knew what the litter tray was for as soon as it saw it. (that's one of the downsides of having a cat, the ugly tray they crap in overnight) Just keep an eye on them in the early days though! You'll need food, a bowl for said food, somewhere for them to sleep/ a bed, toys, a litter tray + litter incase they need to have a dump overnight, and possibly a box to put it in when you take it to the vets. Not alot required really, just look after it!
