Congrats to the winners, and chuffed with my result. I'm thinking that the thing people enjoyed most about this was getting to use the 'GET' prefix

I know, I really wanted to get out on a Reading ride one last time but had to get there quick so I can establish residency I'm already here but hopefully won't be ages before I can come back for a while.

Loved that, wasn't expecting that last tap

Thanks There's not a lot to ride where I'm moving to but I have some tape to practise jumping over, might be a while before a proper video

That carpark is genuinely what I'll miss most about England (I'm moving to America). There's a ledge that slopes from curb height to a couple centimetres above bar height. Along with that little wooden rail it's just amazing. I love the frame, good all rounder for me. The rear brake needs a booster though but I got it when Tarty had them at 120 I think so can't complain too much. And thanks for comments

Few clips I've managed to get since finally being able to ride after almost a year off. Wouldn't usually be happy with them, but I had expected to feel a lot worse on my bike after so long. I am happy with how the first sidehop times in with the carpark lights being turned on though.

Realistically though how many people have a job they love that much? Nothing wrong with being motivated by the money rather than the job.

I'm kind of switch between loving and hating trials. In a lot of ways I think doing it has improved who I am, I pretty much learnt how to do things for myself from it because my parents didn't support it. It's given me pretty good stress relief and just a lot of fun which when I was at school was something I needed, I couldn't just come home and not go outside and do something because I wanted to felt like I did something worthwhile and for me jumping up a wall in a new way is more worthwhile than a lot of the stuff I did at school. But then again, having dislocated my shoulder twice and needing 3 months off each time just made me miserable for those time spans, and then the third time finding out I'd be off for 11 months and being in a tonne of pain for weeks was pretty rough. If I hadn't felt the need to do a big drop again just because I thought I could do it a bit smoother my life would have been so different over the past year I'm back to loving it though, so it's all good. Kind of a bit of a curse though at the same time... Also I'd have more money if it weren't for trials.

Never F***ing Ever Wear Not Tight Jeans When You Ride
bikeperson45 replied to clerictgm's topic in Trials Chat
Could be worse though, like that BMXer in the skinny jeans who had his scrotum ripped open. -
After a week of being able to ride again playing around with the tailwhip stuff

The bit in the library around 2:20

One time riding straight in the centre of town I pedalled down and my cog had come loose so my chain came off so my foot went down to quickly. My toes made contact with the ground first which made the rest of me fall, making me crotch hit the frame and have me slide off and since I was going pretty fast I just skidded along the road a bit. A lot of people saw it, especially because there's a Starbucks with the seats facing out the window staring at me.

Rtb "wild" Triboulat Bros. Mountain Bike Freestyle Film.
bikeperson45 replied to freestyl''air's topic in Videos
I kind of liked it, some great riding but they over do the footjam whips. And I don't get how they're so good at some stuff but their 360s are so rough at times. -
Walking Dead season 3 premier ending made me
-
When I first started trials I bought an issue of MBUK and it had a how to section with him on his Raid bike, I was so chuffed when I looked back and realised I had learnt all the basics in that. Amazing video, the rail bit really had me stunned on that bike. And last back flip was awesome.

Kind of funny?......

The new episodes of Dexter have been great so far, looks like it could be the strongest seasons. The ending of season 6 set it up really well. And can't wait for the Walking Dead, looks awesome.
-
Sorry for the bump but just finished it. The last episode was almost perfect, I think that show has the best ending I've ever seen, I was so relieved it ended so well. Ending montage was just amazing. Anyone been watching season 7 of Dexter?

There's a family who live in my town who won the lottery and they moved into a pretty massive house and bought a new car with it. They didn't seem to go really over the top with the money since neither of the parents jobs would be able to afford what they do have (or at least I'm assuming). Seems to work for a few people.

Anyone know if Heatsink blue's on a smooth rim work well? Thinking either them or the Echo white ones but swaying towards the blue

The problem is it doesn't actually hurt enough while riding for me to not ride. After not being able to ride in ages it still seems worth it at the moment Might try and get some gloves with padding on the palm, I had got some thicker grips because my others were worn, I was pretty much just holding onto the bar. Hopefully it will just improve, I never had this before so I'm hoping it's just because my hands have been reunited with impact. Thanks

Now that I've started riding again it seems to be taking its toll on my hands. It's not blisters or skin but around under my pinkie finger it gets pretty sore to push down on it or put weight on them when I'm on the bike. I haven't rode in 11 months and didn't have this before, so I'm thinking it might just be my hands need to get used to the impact again? It's only the upper outer part of the palm and it doesn't bother me too much when I'm riding but afterwards I notice it more. Anyone have experience with this?

Sorry if people have already seen this but stumbled on it on youtube and thought it was worth the post. Never seen anyone ride chains like him

Post Pictures Of Your Perminant Riding Setups
bikeperson45 replied to Laurence--Trials's topic in Riding Pictures
I've never seen the appeal to these types of set ups. I'm partial to the occasional pallet but the idea of riding for more then a few hours at these places bores me. I'd want something as vague as possible.
