  1. Seeing as I didnt fit in the time to film a GETCreative edit, I'll make an effort to produce something for this. I think restrictions put in place are a good thing Ben!
  2. Cause its a shitty Panasonic Lumix. Only joking, they're great little cameras, use Adobe Premiere (latest version will do) and that will convert your AVCHD files into something more useable such as .mov or .mp4. Ensure your camera and your software is set to 16:9 aspect ratio for HD footage.
  3. If the rider who ended up sponsored was looking for frames, would they be provided with only trials frames or would they be allowed to get something else built as a second ride too, say fixie/bmx/jump/street frame?
  4. I was hoping to put together a small edit of the action from the trials, captured odd clips between riding sections but just didnt manage near as much footage as i was aiming to get.
  5. Getting some air to it the now, Dad's been given the task of removing the stiches in 2 weeks time. Your bike would have came in handy on the sunday and i'm surprised i didnt end up doing my leg in with your pedals, i was feart of your monster sized pins.
  6. I did. Thanks to all who observed and the BTF for organising a great trial, and to Wolfman for lending me his GU on the Saturday looking forward to next year already, with the MTB world cup on at the same time it makes an excellent atmospere. Correct me if i'm wrong but im pretty sure i seen TV cameras filming the trials?
  7. The blog has now been closed down and moved to a Facebook page. Everyone has Facebook and more people spend their time on there, it just made sense to move my blog. It will also allow me to make it a bit more professional and is a better place to showcase my work. Also, by creating fast links between the site and my Vimeo page plus anything ive come across, it makes it easier to gain feedback from people by 'commenting' or 'liking'. So go on, click the link below and let me know what you think. http://www.facebook.com/ProgressionMedia
  8. Yeah I was thinkng that, but I want to replace the header image with a collection of images in a collage fashion, so you'll have to make do the noo.
  9. Small update and a change of colour scheme. Starting to cut down on the writing and concentrating on uploading more photos and videos, keeps it interesting and more visual that way! http://progressionmedia.blogspot.co.uk/
  10. not gonna make this yin either, looks like you'll have to round up plenty new faces Kev!
  11. Sounded like a good comp, seen a few photos on fb, looked mucky! Sorry I couldn't make it to this one or will be able to make it to the next one, work has taken over my life! Got Fort Bill booked though, so will see you there!
  12. Blog is going to go through a number of changes to make it more media based and more about my Photography and Filmmaking, first off is a name change for now while I decide and plan each alteration. The original 'progressionworks' URL is now defunct, so here is the new 'progressionmedia' URL link. I have also edited the first post to take you to the blog using the new URL. Anyway thats it for now, new camera is on the way and my mind is bursting with lots of ideas. You shall see the results of these ideas very soon! Progression. Dan
  13. Hmm, still got to improve my riding on natural so probably stick to novice.
  14. If I had had the time I would have realeased the video before the song got too popular. Im already planning the next one, just removed the brakes to see how creative I can get (and to grow bigger balls) so yes the next one will be more rolly/spinny.
  15. Steve at Heatsink has been keen to see any media from my riding, allowed me to use his logo for added publicity for his company, kinda gives something back for producing great products. Same goes for Superstar, whos pedals I now love (same as Inspired, nearly half the price, same quality) and odd little bits here and there alongwith their Titanium bolts and Chainguide for my XC bike. Allows them to see their products being used in the real world.
  16. Spent the last 3 months producing this, and while its not spectacular or any impressive riding, nor is it the most professional looking videos, it's my first proper riding video and I can only improve for the future. I do apologise for the sound cocking up halfway through the video, nothing much I could do about it unfortunately. Anyway feel free to comment and I'm happy to ask any questions, also check out my blog here for the story behind it. Regional Roadtrip Video Watch in HD! Dan
  17. Im from Dumfries and now able to travel about a bit more, check out the rides and locations section, usually rides being organised in glasgow.
  18. Maw and Paw were taking me out on saturday night and I've declined their offer to go riding! Such a nice son I am Looks like theres more gonna be out than I thought, see yous all Saturday! ps what time are you heading down at and when are you leaving on the sunday? Ta
  19. cause you're so bloody tall! Reckon you'd have more balance on a bigger bike.
  20. something tells me you'd be better off on a stock...
  21. Good wee video Ben! See you're getting those bunnyhop gaps nailed! See you've removed the tensioner, how have you gone about dealing with the chain tension now? Now that my Hex is built, I think Aberdeen is the first port of call for a good session, perhaps for a weekend?
  22. Saw some of these photos in Digital Camera magazine, to do with trying off-camera flash. Nice work though I do agree about the watermark being distracting.
  23. good to see you're getting those bunnyhops to rear nicely! next challenge....360 drop. Dont see too many of those on a mod
  24. Beginning the processes of redesigning the site. Unfortunately I'm having trouble selecting the new font I wish to use, however for the time being I have edited the title image. Dan
