What a(nother) pile of drivel. So much pointless crap in it I only just managed to make it through. Might not bother with the next one.

Worth trying to sus out where the movement is occurring. definitely haven't stripped the clamping bolts in the axle? If you do dismantle it try wobbling the axle once the freehub body is off to see where the play is.

That Lycra thing is genius though.

Good stuff . It increases the diameter so you are applying more torque while also improving your grip on the job.

Are you trying with the wheel built and the tyre still on the rim? That always helps. Getting someone else to help as well usually makes a difference- both yank at the same time to try and shock it loose.

I hope so. I don't think it helped that they were in America trying to be funny to yanks which just came across as desperate and a bit pathetic. Celebrity thing was entirely pointless, RAF thing was wholly unnecessary and stupid, the American driver is a mistake if they're not actually going to get anything from him... I actually fell asleep watching it which says a lot!

Got a KHE Evo in the garage but it doesn't get out much...

Didn't really do much for me. Silly bits were just stupid and pointless and the car bits were all too much show with very little information or interest. All a bit meh.

You would think so but I wouldn't bet on it!

I guess not -
TV, What's the best thing you've seen...

Agreed, though I didn't mind the new series that's just been aired on Dave. A bit more like the originals compared to the other later series' with the wrong Kochanski and too much CGI. -

I've been thinking about getting a carbon downtube protector for my Echo Lite but failed to find anywhere with the correct (small) size in stock. Being the sort of person that I am I decided to just buy some carbon tubing and make one (sorry for the pants phone picture): It's made of 42mm ID roll wrapped carbon and obviously cut to length to suit the Echo. The thing is I've now got a bunch more of this tube and was wondering if anyone would like one if I made them? Being roll wrapped it doesn't have the classic shiny weave on show but are just as light and should do the job just fine. I can make them any length (within reason) and have enough material to make around 9 more. I can supply a length of sticky backed Velcro to attach them if needed (that's how I've put mine on- makes it removable and also adds a little padding rather than direct contact. Diameter-wise the Echo is 44mm so the 42mm tubing fitted really nicely and if I'd cut it slightly over centre it would've popped on without any velcro or anything but that seems slightly pointless and wasteful! I would guess the tube would still work up to 45mm diameter without too much trouble. Anyway, let me know if anyone's interested. Edit: Better pic of it off the bike:

Spot on, cheers for the info dude.

Thinking of heading this way over new year... how was it? Just had a scan at the website and it seems quite DH oriented. Also where is it?! Close to Merthyr Tydfill I assume?

The move itself doesn't bother me but in this there was so much flowy, fast riding and every whip needed a pause and made him look a little like a beginner for some reason. Otherwise some very impressive moves!

Impressive riding. Like it!

What the hell was that? Best thing in it was the kid getting hit in the head by a drinks can in the 'other videos' thing right at the end.

I think our usual laser cutter has a £100 minimum order. Fire over a dxf and I can have a chat with one of our subbies that might be able to tag it on to another order if you fancy...

No, I'm saying that the younger generation (in both votes) were voting for the right reasons (in my opinion of course). Voting 'anti establishment' is not a valid reason to plunge either country into years of uncertainty and likely turmoil. Voting because you're racist is not a valid reason. And of course voting for a disgusting excuse for a human being is never a good idea. The guy's a cunt, as was Nigel Farage, as was Michael Gove and, to a degree, as was Boris.

It's actually quite interesting how many similarities can be drawn between the Brexit shitstorm and f**kface Von Clownstick winning the US vote, both in the tactics used to gain favour and to a large part the types of people that voted certain ways. That plot of the way 18-25 year old's voted in the US election is also very similar (if memory serves) to how Brexit panned out with a substantial age divide. At least there's a chance that in the UK some sanity may prevail and we'll either just miss the boat and brush it under the carpet or Parliament and the House of Lords will get a chance to stop it in its tracks. The US are screwed until either Clownstick gets assassinated, impeached or actually holds office for far longer than he should. I have to wonder what poor Obama's thinking. Having this utter jackass taking over must be a complete embarrassment to everything he's tried to achieve over his terms or indeed his entire career.
