I got in trouble for covering the brake/clutch all the time, using one/two fingers and also waving my knees around to balance at low speeds! Because the clutch is a bit heavy and because they beat it out of me I do now use four fingers on both levers when using them. Occasionally do just use one or two fingers on the brake if I know the road and am just scrubbing speed though.

I know wd40 doesn't have much lubricating properties but that's still a really bad idea! Brake cleaner, acetone, petrol even sure (though probably not with the fire element) but wd40 I'd say no.

Still not sure it counts if you're getting someone else to do all the work though!

I guess to some degree it depends what she did to cause the split. Was she just a nasty person in which case f**k her (not literally, this isn't the Tinder thread) or was she a passenger in some stupid family fight and was too proud or whatever to get in touch sooner. I think knowing that would make it easier for me to decide whether I'd want to go and see her or specifically not go and make sure she knows that you don't want to go so she knows how badly she f**ked up in the past.

Whenever I've had two bikes (mainly a 20" comp bike plus a 24" 'street' bike) I've always ended favouring one and leaving the other untouched. In the end I took the jump and committed fully to 24" and sold the mod. Still have a road bike, MTB and BMX but only one trials bike.

A vice and socket set should see that sorted wouldn't it? Sounds pretty crap about the paint though- if it's chipped from storage that doesn't even sound like proper powdercoating with the paint baked on anyway... Name and shame!

Considering under PR the Conservatives would still have won (though not with a majority- not sure that's necessarily a good thing) and the big winner would've been UKIP I'm not sure it's the way to go. Yes it's 'fairer' in the grand scheme of things but I also don't know quite how that works at a local level. At Westminster if 30% of votes means 30% of seats how are local MP's determined? In my constituency I don't expect or know how I'd be 30% represented by Conservatives, 25% by Labour, 10% by UKIP etc.
