  1. If you do attempt bending it use a bit of heat otherwise that's just gonna crack and snap off I'd say.
  2. Still in the manufacturing process . 9 month lead time on the components y'know!
  3. How times change... Apparently it's now down to ~1.7 in the UK which weirdly is exactly what I currently have.
  4. But it also involves long term stability as well. Living life day to day and hand to mouth is great unless you find yourself incapacitated somehow so can't work or get old without anyone to look after you or a pension/property etc. to fall back on. I'd also guess it's easier to achieve that in foreign places like Thailand etc. than to do that successfully in the UK where living costs are far higher and unless you go down the benefits route will struggle to live on a day to day basis without any regular work or whatever.
  5. Not ashamed but being 30+ and 'still f**kin around deciding what route to go' isn't the sort of career advice my teachers/parents were giving out when I was out school and isn't for everyone. Likewise I know a mortgage, career and 2.4 children isn't for everyone but it seems to work for a lot of (happy) people as well.
  6. That's not really something to brag about though is it?! Sounds to me like the Pizza thing was just a means to an end that you've kinda just stuck with even though you hate it. If it were me I'd sack off that one and try and enjoy the Halfords gig as much as you can (show willing, take on responsibility etc.) while keeping an eye out for what you actually want to do. Halfords stores are a little dead end but on the flipside we had one of the chief designers for Halfords here the other day who absolutely loves his job but that's obviously a long way from mending punctures and trying not to put forks in back to front
  7. Quit yer whingin' then! Not even a hint? Peg mounts? Integrated pivotal post? Glow in the dark paint?
  8. Looking good for Lewis now though... Currently hoping for Alonso and Vettel to take each other out to huge applause from the Silverstone crowd.
  9. I was really impressed by the support shown on the stage. For some reason I wasn't really expecting such huge crowds and mania from all the grumpy Yorkshire folk!
  10. Just wondering how many people are following the Tour this year. Watched the majority of the first stage today and will probably keep track of things with the ITV4 highlights programs. Will be interesting too see how Team Sky play it this year and also interesting that Quintana isn't there considering he was closest to Froome last year.
  11. Sooo... What features would you like to see?
  12. Hopefully Lewis being in 6th will make for a slightly more interesting race...
  13. So what features would you like to see?
  14. I won't be able to do the Friday as I'm up in Scotland but should be around on the Saturday and Sunday.
  15. I'm running my arcade with a hope 70 x 25 and that seems pretty good.
  16. Reminds me of Ian Morris- that horrible, forced, lazy style. Impressive rail riding skills though!
  17. I seriously don't understand fatbikes. What's the point? They just look heavy, slow and pointless.
  18. You'll be reet! Just try and relax and be confident and you'll be fine.
  19. Cheeky picture of the ER6 from today
  20. When the guy throws the BMX onto the bike stand... that would dent some road bikes and XC machines I bet, at least remove a bit of paint.
  21. Nah, he's sent something and the missus has lost the receipt containing the tracking number. As has been mentioned, worth asking at the post office where you sent it in case they can do anything but if Mr Postie Johns himself says no then that's probably the answer.
  22. PTFE is super thin and kind of moulds to the threads to seal imperfections.
