  1. I think what we have here is a small minded individual. He's reacted to something he clearly doesn't understand in the only way he knows how, by dismissing it. Any intelligent person would be open-minded and inquisitive. His limited outlook on life and the world and his influence on others is very unfortunate. His attitudes will probably never change, you should present yourself to that forum revealing his misconceptions then stop worrying about him and leave him to read his Daily Mail.
  2. Extremely thick, yes. A genuine racist, no. There's nothing wrong with Jade Goody anyway, she seemed perfectly fine when I saw her on the telly in Afghanistan last week!
  3. I think you're just a bit confused there. You're there to learn, not promote your delusional ideas of an all powerful sky fairy.
  4. Was it the sea defense rocks right at the south end of the beach by the radar tower? Those rocks just get bigger and better the further along you go towards the tower. The only problem is the wind.
  5. Hardly. I can't remember the last time I damaged anything when riding in a public place, be it accidental or deliberate. The vast majority of trials riders are probably the same as me. Even on the extremely rare occasion I should accidentally hit an object and leave a permanent mark it is never intentional and it certainly isn't on the scale of covering a whole wall with some impotent peorsonal territorial statement.
  6. If you have a front caliper specified for a 160mm front disc, then yes, you will need an adapter that would make it 180mm front in order for it to fit a 160mm on the rear.

    Ouch!

Ok, let's clear this one up once and for all. Bail; you get off the bike before it goes wrong to avoid a potentially worse crash. Stack; you crash The wear on his pad does suggest that it's been poorly set up to begin with.
  8. a front disc caliper will fit the rear but will accept a 20mm smaller disc. a rear disc caliper will fit the front but will need a 20mm larger disc.
  9. From the sound of it it doesn't appear that you were ever 'together' in the first place! I don't have time to read the previous 300 pages of the topic but I hope I'm not the first person to come in here and order you lot to "MAN THE f**k UP!!!" You don't cry when you masturbate do you?
  10. Get a new dealer then, he's probably ripping you off with bags of oregano or something...
  11. Mastodon - Leviathan I allways come back to this.
  12. Creationism, Intelligent Design and theists in general who use pseudo science and their misunderstanding of it try and prove their hypotheses, like a really lame 'fighting fire with fire' tactic.
  13. Noone's obeyed them and been able to prove they have gone to heaven either. The ten commandments are mostly a basic humanistic moral code which hold much in common most other religions. They shouldn't be seen as something that separates Christianity from all the others, since Christianity is by and large compiled from borrowed parts of other belief systems. Societies were living and adhering to similar moral codes long before the ten commandments became part of Christian doctrine. The commandments are beside the point here, since I don't remember there being a "Thou shalt not love Judy Garland..." unless that comes under false idols...
  14. I think he's refering to the narrator's daft attemt at dramatising. What exactly is a 'Victorian accent'?..
  15. So, no smart-arses got down to that spot to be the first to nail that line?..
  16. If you're using a Magura any increase in modulation with braking will probably also mean a reduction in locking performance. The 'modulation' you'll feel in your braking will be more affected by the actuation ratios of the system. Basically, if you don't like the feel of your brake, find a new braking system. As for all your other questions... What are you doing, looking at the bike or actually riding it? Bikes are for riding not posing so find parts that perform well first and look good second, tart.
  17. I get it. I suppose you could be guilty of attempting to kill somebody without inflicting GBH on them.
  18. Smashing someone in the head repeatedly is ATTEMPTED MURDER not GBH. This wasn't something that happened in a split second in a fight or flight reaction. He wasn't defending himself from harm or neutralising an attacker. This man got up, went and picked up a hammer, left his flat, descended the stairs, made his way to the group, threatened 2 people, then grabbed one and hit them repeatedly over the head with a weapon. He had plenty of opportunites to not do this.

    Lhd ?

I think these Pashley forks are probably aimed more at street riders doing drop-out stalls who want to run a front disc and have the choice of which side they go to. Not strictly an issue in trials. I've never had an issue with which side my disc is on affecting the way I ride.

    Lhd ?

Has nobody thought to learn every move in both directions? You're only half the rider you could be otherwise.
  21. Ever consider stopping the car and dealing with some of these things like a safe driver should?
  22. that formula would be far too basic to apply to trials moves since it applies entirely to pedal effort. that's not where most of the power comes from when dealing with trials moves. Also the variables needed in a trials move specific formula would be so many and ever changing, with regards to the efforts needed and the leverage efficiencies when the bike and body are at constantly changing angles to each other.
  23. How does this warrant it's own topic? Let's do it for every member eh? That's about 40 useless topics a day. Why not just dedicate the entire forum to hollow, meaningless birthday greetings?
