  1. If you are really careful it can be done, but when I used to run my hose through the steerer, I always gave it a super quick re-bleed just to be sure. edit: Beaten to it.

    Microsoft office

Like said, open office or other free ones can be just as good. There are also web based alternatives. Google, Microsoft and Apple just to name a few do them that work with their cloud storage. So you could access your documents anywhere on any device. EDIT: Or cracked older versions of office is another option.
  3. I already have that one saved, but thanks anyway It backs up the 20-15 suggested earlier. The calculator I linked also seems reliable. So I think we should all bookmark it!
  4. I realised that I could try this myself and it was way off. A link less and the chain is too short, put the link back in and it is way too slack for a kingz tensioner. Did they change the chainstay lengths on the hex? Mine seems to be 385mm if they did. Also came across this. http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/chain_length/chainlengthcalc.html
  5. Would it be a pain to ask for a picture so that I can see what that setup looks like?
  6. Yeah, I just hope it filters across to the fourplay and hex models. Cheers for the info. Was it still light enough for the "proper" trials stuff.
  7. Still a WIP, but it is rideable now. Had a short but very hilly, mostly off road ride on it the other day. It reminded me how unfit I am but the bike was good. Decided against dual HS33s as I realised that having one on the front wasn't very practical and I wasn't happy with the overall performance. The BB7 on the front won't be staying though and I may still stick a HS33 on the back.
  8. I have tried similar with a 74kingz tensioner pushing down, but everything I have tried so far with the sprockets I have seem to be either about a half link short or way too long. Plus I love the clean look of no chain tensioners. I hope one day that inspired bring in a horizontal drop out option.
  9. A bit hard for my feminine legs. I have been doing a bit of reading on observedtrials and 17:14 seems to be very promising.
  10. I have a hex frame lying around doing nothing as I got bored of breaking mech hangers. I keep seeing a load of hexs with a tensioner-less setup and I want this so that I can ride my hex without the stress of breaking a hanger mid ride. I have tried lots of different ratios with sprockets I have spare but have had no luck. Apparently 18:15 with a half link works (but I want to avoid half links) and also that 17:14 works with a bit of filing. But it would be nice to hear from someone who has done it before a shell out money on bits. Has anyone on here done it with a trialsy gear ratio. I don't mind a bit of filing if necessary.
  11. I want to see a full edit.

  13. On a positive note, he didn't do any talking throughout the video.
  14. Not a fan of the raw, polished look. I don't mind a small amount of it, like the frame only or chrome rims, but that's way too much for my taste. But as long as you like it, that's the only thing that matters. On the positive side, the build looks solid. I bet it rides nice.

I will get some rough measurements off mine. It won't be easy as they wrap around the tubes but it will give you an idea. PM me your email address and I will send some close up pictures of all the graphics if you want. Just went on ebay and there was a brand new one on there. Result! Just bought it, mine needs stiffening up a bit.

Love it. Edit: Is that the magura cnc booster? I have been struggling to find a booster that will fit on mine apart from the standard steel magura one.
  17. Mk1 justice, 2 mk2 justices (still the best frame I have ever had) one of those is cracked after much abuse and an edd tongue which I have been told is a proto one with better tubing. Whether that is true or not, I don't know.
  18. I do this too. I have 4 at the moment. Thinking about buying another to replace one that I have cracked too.

It is pretty darn good. Was a bit suprised at the 15 certificate though. I thought it was pretty violent.
  20. Already bought a charge spoon. Not had the chance to have a long ride with it yet though.

    Ashton.

I have a brand new gold ard guard, I have always had a thing for middleburns though. I probably won't do any of these things though. Even though I have 2 sets of fatty forks, one is the matching blue set for my volvo cannondale and my black set has a steerer tube which is too short for this setup.

Fattys , middleburns, hs33 on the front. It was those sort of components with this frame that made up my dream bike when I was starting trials all those years ago.

This was the first trials bike I ever wanted. Not Disappointed, although it hasn't get the spec I want for it.
  24. This makes me sad as your videos were always one of my favourites to watch. They are still some of my go to videos when I need some riding motivation. Any plans to get back on it?
