Yeah a re spray is in order when i have the time. I like the purple a lot and am thinking about doing it the same or similar colour. But I might change my mind by the time I actually get around to it.

Wanted one of these for ages. Hopefully it will get me back into riding more, haven't ridden much in the last 2 years. So far I am really liking it, just playing around with a few things like gear ratios and stuff. A big thanks to Nick Manning for the frame!

I have never bad any problems with oil, so I stick with it.

Slack head angles make bikes feel more sluggish when it comes to streetier riding were spins and such are involved. I would get the standard zoot if it were me.

Google how to put it into recovery mode and restore through itunes. It might work, it might not. Yeah I too would go down the route of replacing the logic board, it's actually quite easy if you follow a guide and keep all the screws in order. I wouldn't advise doing any repairs that require a soldering iron though. The boards are far too small and delicate if you are a novice, you will likely do far more damage. I'm a confident solderer and do it as part of my job, but doing a solder repair on an iphone 3gs logic board was one of the hardest solder jobs I have done.

When you say you plugged it in, did you plug it into the wall or a computer? Try plugging it into and computer and putting it in recovery mode.

When you say digital audio out, what do you mean? I have seen "digital audio out" labelled on many different kinds of outputs including coaxial and optical audio.

As it's my only bike, I want it to feel right as a trials, street all rounder. Also the headtube is quite long and the BB is low enough on these frames that it automatically makes the bars feel a bit high. Highrise bars just makes it too high for the more focused trials riding. Brilliant for manuals and bunnyhops, but for tapping, gapping and such.... not so good. I have had it built with regular TT bars and after playing around with lots of different setups over the last few months, it felt the best for what I want as a happy medium. Just need to find a black pair to make my colour scheme complete.

lite xl pinned and welded on the back, normal lite pinned on the front. Yeah they are strong enough, especially considering the quality of some trials specific rims.

This bike is so close to being perfect in my eyes now. Just need standard trialtech bars instead of the high rise ones and it will be exactly how I want it, depending on how I get on with my new front brake. I just need to actually ride the thing now. Pictures came out a bit funny, I think from the white background. I might take some new ones if it stops raining.

Brakes get attention when they start to feel/perform worse. Chain gets cleaned and re-lubed when it looks really shitty and replaced when I feel I have had it too long (maybe every 6 months). Free hub gets a good clean and lube once a year. Everything else just get's a clean/grease/lube as it comes off for any reason (feels bad or breaks). I may do a proper strip down, clean, re-build if i'm bored on a sunday.

I run a RB lever blade on my 04 magura. Such a sweet setup. I have a RB lever body as well but it didn't feel solid enough. You might get lucky finding one second hand, but don't bet on it.
