  1. I'm thinking about getting a bmw e46 with one of the 6 cylinder engines. Probably the 2.2 or 2.5, as I do quite a bit of country road driving and I think the 3 litre would be a bit thirsty for that. Anyone on here owned one?
  2. I miss orange stripe maxxis tyres.
  3. Very good! I love how quiet your back brake is too.

    Films!?

Certainly a good film, but skyfall was better. And if Dave didn't like Casino Royale, he might still enjoy Skyfall. I wanna watch Spectre soon.

Casino Royale wasn't that great anyway. Give Skyfall a try.
  6. I wanted one of those. They have aged well too, it still looks modern.
  7. When I open a topic that I haven't read before and that has had replies, it seems to open on the last reply rather than the 1st post.
  8. I have always kind of liked the idea of mx5s, except that I think they are really girly. Recently I have been really liking 90s mk 2 toyota mr2s. I want pop-up headlights and a t-bar roof.
  9. If the rims were silver and there was a little less purple, It would look proper nice in my opinion.
  10. In my opinion, all the little holes ruin it a bit.
  11. Would starting it in 1st gear, clutch pedal in with the drive wheels off the ground be a good test the see if it desengaging properly?
  12. When the chain is on and there is a bend in the spring, does that pull it away from the spokes at all? Failing that, I would suggest making a longer spring. Steel rulers make good, cheap and durable springs for this type of tensioner.
  13. Pivoted around on the screw? Bent? Look down on it between the frame and the wheel. is it straight? As said, photo will help.
  14. Cheers Luke. It's a 2.0T. I see they also do just the internal core for a pretty decent price. I imagine that is all prebalanced and a straight swap? I will have to take my turbo off soon to see exactly what the problem is before I decide what route to take.
  15. Anyone know/recommend a good turbo refurbish company?
  16. Your riding never ceases to amaze me.
  17. My car is getting more smokey. And the smoke is getting bluer.
  18. As it is a steel steerer tube it is easier to work with. With an insert, sleeve and a decent weld, it should be a reliable extension. The steerer tube at the moment at it shortest point (un-even cut) is 125mm. I can get you some pictures if are still interested. I will look for the headset tonight for you. EDIT: I have just measured the headtube on my frame and it is also 120mm. So as I said earlier, I would recommend a 190mm+ steerer tube so that you aren't restricted as to what headset and stem you can use.
  19. I have some black fatty forks spare. They need the steerer tube extended and they don't have brake bosses, but I would do them cheap if you wanted. I think the cannondale frame I have is very similar to this one. If so, I would recommend atleast a 190mm steerer tube. You may be able to get away with less if you had a slim headset and stem. Seatpost diameter is 27.2mm I believe. I also might have a yellow onza headset somewhere (the one that came on the original onza zoot). I will see if I can find it if you are interested.

Watched again after watching at work earlier with no sound. Super good as always.

Threaded headset and quill stem. Can't remember the last time I saw that setup in a trials video. I enjoyed that video.
  22. No mayo. No coolant loss, but I will check again when it has cooled down. I have an oil leak from rocker cover gasket (I wouldn't be suprised if there was any other leaks either), but I am sure it is burning it as well as it smells of burning often. Unless that is the oil from the leak dripping onto something hot. EDIT: Been googleing and turbo seals and valve stem seals seem to be the popular suggestion.
  23. Wouldn't a decent drive get rid of any condensation? I'm getting it after journeys as well. It's a turbo petrol engine if that is any help.
  24. What does white smoke on idle mean? Usually start after idling for a couple of minutes.
  25. Thanks Mark. Given what you said and because I think the neutrons look better, I have ordered a set.
