  1. Liking the updates in this thread! No ones getting an eclair, it was a merc 115 vito. I like.
  2. Going to look at a vehicle tonight with 177bhp, rear wheel drive and a turbo. Anybody who guesses what it is gets an eclair. Hopefully gunna buy it.
  3. Show her the family guy Star Wars episodes, she might appreciate them more.
  4. Does look rather cool. I'd say snapped spring for a wild guess? I've finally found an ideal van at the right price but its all the way down in Worthing! Long trip ahead possibly.
  5. It is quite impressive the lack of filler you'd expect to see with a de seam. I've been driving the mini daily for a while while trying to collect a few bits to finish it off. Today I got some Italian job door cards and rear seats. Other than that I don't think there's much else I need to sell it now. I was possibly think of putting narrower arches on but not sure if its worth it?
  6. I love cars yet I'm getting a van. What do you make of that? (You didn't cover that one )
  7. I saw an f40 lm caining it round silverstone. Was friggin awesome.
  8. Well today I finally finished off the bits and it now has 12 months MOT
  9. Thanks for the pointers guys, the intention with the van is to carry myself and up to two other guys and their motorbikes around the country so it's never going to be loaded really heavy, (Bikes weigh about 70kg a piece) and also be used to ferry people and pushbikes around. This particular one I'm going to look at is a 1.9d. It looks pretty smart but to be honest atm I'm more going to have a nosey than anything unless it turns out to be a real good'un.
  10. Looks so smart that 924, I daren't do an insurance quote cause I know I'd want one when its cheaper than I thought and it would be so impractical for me. Speaking of insurance quotes I just got a ridonculously cheap quote on a vw t4 transporter. Anybody know what to look out for? The one I've been looking at has been dropped 50mm, on Audi alloys, got more ideal tailgate, done 160k (slight offput), 1996 I think. It's within budget. Ill probably go have a look at it soon if I can.

I vote as we go along. I don't possess I trial bike anymore but I do have a few good ideas in mind and will try to make an entry. (I did last year then my hard drive bust with the video on )
  12. It failed! But not bad at all, I put cable ties on the cv boots and they weren't up to the job, and also indicators decided to flash like jimmy saville. Felt so good to be behind the wheel
  13. I've got mine booked in for MOT at 3, fingers crossed!
  14. Or could they be turned down?
  15. Oooh that was pleasurable, what sort of bhp is that pushing out?
  16. I rebled the clutch today after fixing a leak. Used a colourtune kit. Fixed the choke. Had a bit of a play up and down the drive and it was awesome to be behind the wheel again Going to get insured tomorrow hopefully (got a crazy cheap quote) and hopefully test it by the end of the week.
  17. Well I think I've got it running a lot smoother. The brake servo feed on the inlet manifold must have been leaking air. I sealed it up better and it runs mint now. I'm borrowing a mates colourtune kit tomorrow to try get the mixture bang on. Might try for an not tomorrow
  18. There's nothing majorly new. I put a new headgasket on, new exhaust, new gaskets etc. The spark on the cylinder seems decent though. Tomorrow I'm going to try putting some gasket sealant between the gaskets that sit between the carb and the inlet manifold. Make sure it's not leaking through there. It's running very similar to when i took it off the road, it was one if the reasons I took it off but at the time wasn't too worried cause the car worked.
  19. I've got mine running quite a bit better now, timing issues sorted. I'm not satisfied it's running totally fine though. It seems to have a slight missfire on 3 and 4, mainly 3. It doesn't seem electrical though as have decent spark etc. Any ideas before i tackle it tomorrow?
  20. I've had it fired up today! Wel for about half a minute at a time and it was missfiring but I think that's down to the timing but at least it's going! Will finish it off properly next week
  21. I've not had chance to touch it again :/ I reckon it'll be Saturday that I get to manage a fettling session. I want it MOT'd by the end of next week though.
  22. Got myself a new job, I'm nervous but excited too
  23. Well I've been busy and been on holiday so not done much to mine. Except today I got a few things done. I cleaned the tank out ready for fresh fuel, new fuel filter, fitted the rest of the exhaust. Bolted down the dizzy. All that's really left Is to fit the carb properly and then fingers crossed it will fire up. Still a bit worries about the timing though.
  24. I missed the wainwright trial cause I was told it was too close to wether or not i'd make it to get on my minibus to go on holiday. Turns out my mates all got back with loads of time to spare. While I was away I realised the alan jefferies trial closed earlier than i thought, so asked someone to enter me in it for me. Entry list has just come out and I'm not on it. I'm so pissed off cause that's two big big trials I have missed now in two weeks, and haven't done a decent trial since Scotland in May. :'(
