Yeah, to control imaging processes, saves them from having to rescrub from touching other equipment. I highly doubt they are using it for actually cutting someone open! EDIT: At the moment anyway.

Saw this the other day. I think it's a good idea for games mainly but for everyday things like browsing the internet I don't think it'll catch on. In my head people will eventually have their elbows rested on a surface anyway cos after a while your arms and hands will get tired. Also I think people would still prefer other hardware like a graphics tablet for media stuff like Photoshop, it's just more accurate than waving your finger about. For big displays and presentations it'll look fancy and make them more enjoyable to watch compared to a guy pressing a button and crappy transitions. I doubt it would replace a mouse entirely but perhaps work along side the mouse, one hand waving about and the other using a mouse. That way you can use you hands for the large movements like scrolling down a long page and keep the mouse for the smaller detailed things. EDIT: I didn't understand what you meant by monitor surrounds, I think you meant the monitor bezel?

Why not just stick to eBay? List the item, make a post in For Sale Thread as well, put a link in there and say its on eBay as well, that way you get people here interested as well as all the other people out there who's uses eBay that's not on here.

Yes Dan Ko built those frames, not personally of course. He also used to run an online shop called trials-uk but hasn't for a while now, there was lots of complaints from people that orders were not turning up, wrong things turning up or just took forever to arrive. He's chinese if that's important haha, last I heard he drives an Audi R8, dunno if he still does though. Frame wise, they rode pretty nice when I had a go on one. Can't remember their geo though, someone here will.

Don't want to hijack the thread so sorry about this! The cost for cardboard per desk comes to about £30, the more cardboard I buy the cheaper. The other cost is pva glue for the glued version, which isn't really expensive, I've found some shops to have them for a few quid for a few litres. But then I obviously won't sell it for just the cost of materials, need moneys for my time on each one but I'll be happy for £50 per desk since it's hand made. I've sold one to my friends sister for £70 believe it or not. But obviously if I have some sort of machine production line, each desk will be way cheaper. Back on topic!

I went to college without a aim and ended up doing computing, geography, maths and physics in my first year. Failed maths and physics so I thought I retake maths and drop physics for accounting, failed those in my second year. In my third year I retook A2 computing and Geography and picked up AS 3d design which I completely ACED with best grade in that year, I always liked making things, still do. But even after that I still didn't have a job in mind. Being chinese I have your typical chinese parents that thinks you should study 24/7 and never pleased with what their children does, I went to uni and did 3d design to shutup my parents and hoping I would find a goal by the end, but I didn't. I like the practical type of jobs, making things/taking things apart, I just don't know what to do with myself at the moment. Being turned down for so many jobs is a bummer and makes me feel like I'll never even get an semi-decent job. That's my story EDIT: Like to add that I also did 3d design at uni was back then I was thinking a degree is better than no degree. Now I wish I didn't do uni and just did an apprenticeship like carpentry or something like that.

I did 3D design, so did my gf, and my old housemate. Girlfriend had no luck looking for jobs for over 6 months, then get a job in Barclays in feb. My old housemate hasn't managed to find a job, currently volunteering in a gallery I think. Me and housemate are both on JSA. I worked in Halfreuds for 5 months then they got rid of me, haven't had any luck since then. Currently applying for some volunteering in several places. To be honest I don't think I'll ever land a job related to my course, it's been so long since I graduated last August. If I can't find a job soon after graduating I don't think I ever can! Now I'm just happy to get any sort of job!

Graduated uni last august and still can't find a job. Now on JSA, I hate going to that place but I really do need the money. Pretty sure on uni? Do you know what you want to do after uni and whether what you're doing requires a degree of some kind? I wished I did an apprenticeship instead, now I most likely would be in a steady job and moved out of my parents house already and maybe living with the girlfriend. EDIT: Maybe won't be living with the gf, met her at uni so if I didn't go I wouldn't have met her.

How? Was the toys small compared to the claw? The ones I've played had a claw about the same size as the bird itself, like a small watermelon, I know it's possible to get one cos I've seen people win them but I've never managed it, even spent over £10 once as I was sure I'm so close to it.
