  1. Fancy Dress ride on Friday 31st in the evening. For those of you not on facebook or unaware an event has been posted that has been hosted in the past. https://www.facebook.com/events/1064709786881854/ Meeting at the 02 arena between 6-7pm (it's fine if you are late the next riding spot isn't far away, and we will be very central all night) Trials-addict are going to donate prizes to the 1st,2nd,3rd best costumes around 8pm. Phoenix Riders Co team riders are going to be handing out a few spot prizes throughout the night too in usual Phoenix style.
  2. You got Facebook Sherbert Melon? Reece Bradley (reece pogo bradley) might be a good shout to add and message, A few of us are going to book and stop in a hotel on the Friday night and ride Saturday too....... Edit: Course you do you have seen the event
  3. Posting regarding what rear brake someone chooses to use in a video where you can't see the brake at fault, WELL DONE. I liked the filler I hated the edit, The riding is cool but like previous videos hes doing cool things with a serious lack of style/flow in my opinion. I do enjoy his videos and look forward to the next never the less.
  4. Cheers for the link, I was kinda hoping a few more would want to join but I think that a comp is on the Sunday. Frankie and Carl Hopps should be joining us also.
  5. After waking up today and realizing I wanted to ride my bike and further realizing no one is free today, I'll try a topic in here for next weekend. Meeting: Manchester Central Convention Complex 11:00am Parking: JACKSON CRESCENT (This is just out of town, on the other side of the A57, you park very close to a footbridge which is in sight. From there you can easily get to the main road MEDLOCK STREET and follow that towards the centre to the meeting point) I personally only know a handful of spots from previous rides so some local knowledge would be great, also from previous rides it makes no difference riding it on a Saturday or Sunday so that could be open to discussion.
  6. Weight is a common factor for riders, In terms of Inspired you just have the options of what you prefer ahead of you with the best quality you can buy Console/foreplay Arcade/skye so that is just down to what you personally want to ride or like the feel to, especially when the frames cost around the same price anyway (Console frame kit or Foreplay frame and forks). In terms of such as Ozonys I would say their steel frames are going to be a lot weaker than their Aluminium frames after seeing a styl and a King of Dunce at Radfest this year no doubt one is stronger than the other...
  7. http://www.artscyclery.com/Shimano_Saint_M810_Rear_Disc_Brake_Set/descpage-SHSM810RRBS.html The front brakes are easier to find, I presume you would have to swap the levers around? with Saint brakes you do not need to rebleed them if you do this.
  8. Nice edit: I have tried out MT2 brake to find out their calipers snap, Hope tech3 trialzone (a pair of them on my bike) to find their stopping power to lack compared to the saints. I have also had m810/m820 levers on my bike and also m810/20 calipers too. I even tried a bb7 late last year. So you are not the only person to try all these brakes out. After riding with Ali who has tried your brakes out and seeing Mark who is running your brakes both complaining about them and riding at a decent level I don't plan on ever trying a hope 4pot caliper. (Just note that I live 10 min's away from the Hope factory and if they was good enough do you not think I would be running them?) Also my choice of running only a rear only has what to do with this thread? Must really suck to see...... try it
  9. Because unlike you I ride at a higher level, I also weigh more than Leon. Yet my brake is flawless.
  10. The m810's are like gold dust these days I would just go out and buy a brand new saint m820 with ice tech rotor, I personally run the Aztak pads that Tarty and other stores sell and I find them faultless for feathering the brake in move's while keeping their amazing bite and hold. If you do buy an adaptor for the brake get a Hope one too it will cut down adaptor flex. The saint's work well enough for you to be able to run a 180mm rotor and have amazing stopping power so I wouldn't worry about jumping upto 203mm.
  11. It's classed as a spider not a floating rotor and they are actually stiffer than a standard rotor.

I have to agree with DJ if you are putting out a edit like that you really should. Cool watch nonetheless!
