  1. 110% sure I just posted it in the best looking mod thread saying it was my all time favorite so I think that answers your question
  2. Yeah I was one of the riders to have one that leaked out of the piston which wasn't idea, I think it also happened to Leon and a few others. More so from the reviews mtb riders however it resulted in the new piston design for the m820's and they're quite different visually from the back of the pads too. Not having as much around the pads the m820 pad rock is chronic compared to the m810 though haha unless you pull hard
  3. When I first started riding trials these had just come out and ever since then I have not seen a 20" bike that I have found as beautiful as these for myself this is the nicest all time mod
  4. If you had both calipers side by side you would see quite the difference between them both. The m820 is about 2mm shallower where the bolts slot through also, the m820 has no form of stopping the pads from rocking like the m810 but that's because shimano are going for that whole "Ice tech" stuff and it helps cool the pads down for other disciplines. That being said I would (have) happily ride either caliper as long as I had the m810 lever. The M810 for a lot of people leaked too which is a pretty huge flaw resulting in the change of piston and shape so again without having both side by side it's hard to tell. I will take some picture's of two next to each other and show you how different they are if you are interested? I wondered what a 2 pot caliper on shimano m810 would be like compared to the 4pot saint/zee calipers? would they hold just as well?
  5. I have used both and both are as good as each other, Niconj hasn't been on the forum enough to have seen other riders crack the bolt holes on their m810's when they first came out. Also the m820 caliper has a updated piston set up to stop them from leaking... The riders boasting on about m810's being better is mostly lever related that's where the biggest difference/benefit between the 10/20's
  6. That looked so nice today, You could ride street on it! Looks better than that white with purple THING anyway
  7. I agree with Dave, nothing worse than riding something you aren't really keen on. it also might be "cooler" for you to have a 20" if your friend local to you has one too.
  8. Someone uses the "O" word to describe your street trials bike. You know something's gone terribly wrong for you.
  9. In testing before they came out Duncan Shaw ran them on a echo 24" and rode natural and street on them (TGS to not confuse riders). Just to set the record straight, Jack Carthy world champion runs a rear lightweight single ply tyre. Danny Macaskill best street rider in the world runs a rear conti tyre. who's doing it wrong? you are.
  10. Can't work out if you're smiling in that last picture of the Pink eye is stinging.
  11. Continental and Maxxis make really good trials tyres. Stop pulling excuses out of your arses for getting punctures.
  12. out riding on my own yesterday on a well needed loner ride, a guy comes up to me and says "Hey I know you" I replied "Yeah?" to which I got a "I have watched a couple of your video's". I was stoked until he said this "You're Chris Akrigg aren't you". Jesus Christ It did tickle me some what when I replied "if you want me to be".
  13. After speaking to Jacks dad at Radfest they have had to replace the bearings in the hub (more than once) I have had problems with the bearings one both my rear EVO 40t hubs and one had to have the axle replaced as it was 1mm too wide where the bearings seat against it (one has been sent back to Hope twice now, Both hubs are less than 6 months old). Karl had to send his back with a similar Axle issue (and bearings needing replaced). They do work really well though and hopefully I won't have another problem but even if I did I wouldn't go back to the old one.
  14. Haha, Yeah well I would recommend those pads for sure. Really good all around pads you can feather the brake to slow you down on manuals or just in general really well while still having really good bite and hold when it counts.
  15. Yeah it might snap your hub bolts ? Unless you run a freewheel on a onza hub or something?
  16. I would reccomend BBB organic. Cheap and work great
  17. Any hub if you are any of the following, French Ride for Ozonys Like to take the "Trials" out of "Street trials" I went there!
  18. That definitely rules you out of ever been able to comment on a video regarding the filming in a negative way haha. Other than the filming It was good, What are those bars you are running? (do they compliment the geo of your frame hahaha)
  19. Loving you on the leeson (I think it is a leeson?) cool video!
