  1. You're doing it wrong. You should go onto vimeo or youtube and watch some trials videos and some street trials videos and choose which interests you the most. If you like one more than the other and want to give one a go you'll find a pretty huge change in the geo of a street trials bike over a normal trials bike so you should take that into consideration also.
  2. I'll just stick this here :wink2: Waited about 4 month. Disc mount lasted 4 rides, downtube cracked in 4 weeks. My Jaf lasted longer!
  3. Trialtech probably send these cranks off the companies in the dozens. The retailer you bought them from should have also checked their stock both when it arrived to themselves and before sending it out to you just like Tartybikes do.
  4. Holy rollers are pretty light so you're going to end up with more spring and a better bike feel. The Schwalbe inner tubes from my experience are the better ones to buy. (This makes a massive difference in terms of how much you will like the tyres) Bike is looking fab! I hope that you get what you want out of it and keep to it
  5. Hey man I'm away for a while but live pretty close to you normally, if you have Facebook search @Carl Hopps or @Frazer Roberts they both live close/in Leeds. Also @Danny Garland who lives in York.
  6. I was talking about 10mm longer not 40mm
  7. I gave up on short stems and went for something that suited me more, If you feel "Cramped" Then just opt for a longer stem. It's all dependant on what moves you prefer doing and whatnot in my opinion. I find longer stem's harder to level out on bunyhops and spins but I love everything else on it
  8. Glad you got it all built up and are happy hope you like it all the more with a rear brake! Video clips next.....
  9. When I sent you the mt2 lever onto the echo caliper I said it needed bleeding as all I have done is attached them as I snapped the mt2 caliper. Just incase you haven't had it bled. (p.s. before I get accused of being a scammer by anyone after reading the above I gave him the brake)
  10. Glasgow as we speak, moving upto Dundee tomorrow and Monday night. Then we head to a cottage in Dunfermline (hope I spelt that right) then all over shop
  11. First day in Scotland a long ass drive was worth it for the sun and getting to hang out with Ross and Ali. Hopefully I'll stick more posts in this thread while I'm up here :b
  12. Hey man, as said via PM I got them sent but not as early as wanted. Hopefully early next week so I get to see your bike all nice and rideable before I head away

    New Skye

That blue looks so much nicer! I think you're going to end up breaking the frame in the same place in my opinion and that inspired should do what ozonys did as I don't think you're the first to break a Inspired at that point
  14. Marks comment makes me want to post in this thread!
  15. Getting to ride with The Clan at the end of the month is pretty exciting! Also means I get to see Ali and hopefully some of Mr McArthur too
  16. I think wrapping the brake cables around the bike like a total BELL-END devalues bikes by alot!
  17. Yeah it's Daves old bike for sure with the leaking rear brake. His friend was saying it didn't go that far when he sold it. If you was still unsure just ask him to take a picture of some random part of the bike just so you know it is in his possession and you can pay via paypal and have a abit of protection. I once got asked to write my name and the buyers name on a piece of paper and place it in the spokes of a wheel before they bought it haha.
  18. The Ozonys KOD2 in my opinion was the nicest one they have made to date. It was similar to a inspired but had a shorter rear end so for some riders at the time that would have been a good thing it also had a direct post mount which looked ace! I do remember both Tartybikes and Crazybike having to put these frames on offer which when I see frames with a decent discount on to me it just looks like they don't want to be lumbered with them any longer. Seeing other companies keep trying things are pretty rad, I have to hand it to Ozonys they are doing their own things as far as geo and details go!
  19. Yeah anyone who I found out about not being paired anymore I attempted to switch them onto other partners. As for the "Hype" the intention of this competition was to give riders something to do with their start of the year, I'm sure the whole get up and go from the riders would have been more so with more prizes up. I'm sorry I haven't been able to come online much!
  20. I'll let them off to be fair having a one piece dropout and disc tab should make that area stronger anyway
