  1. Yeah, custom gifts have so much more lasting value Ha cheers
  2. Ha thanks heaps. Yeah we thought that it would be a killer thing to get that would have real lasting value as opposed to the normal sorta gift. I even made individual album covers for CD's and the two of us signed them haha. They loved it. Glad you liked the song!
  3. So back in August a some twins I went to school with had their 21st. They are both incredible musicians, like mind blowing good at what they do so gifts were to be a musical gift. A good mate and I have also been trying to make the most generic and stupidly heavy Death Metal EP we can, just because under the band name "bLuud". The band is in no way serious but we decided to make them a birthday song, so we did. I wrote 90% of the song, programmed the drums, played bass, shouted my ass off and killed my throat because I cant scream properly, made the lyrics up on the spot and bought a massive computer just so I could make the lyric video. My mate played guitar, tweaked some of it so it sounded better, recorded, mixed and mastered the track. I reckon it sounds killer, Im so stoked on it even though it was really a joke.
  4. Ok, not gonna lie. That was pretty awesome...
  5. This dude makes the most solid covers
  6. I pretty much don't like the taste of meat and if I cant have a huge amount of veges with it I'm not a happy boy. I could eat peas, broccoli and cauliflower every single night and not complain. Cant stand seafood and I think this is more contributed to eating a mainly healthy diet, pretty much any fastfood I eat ends up giving me a sore stomach. I find it hard to eat more than 2 slices of pizza or a normal sized McDonalds meal. Not complaining though, that stuff is cancer on a bun
  7. Other than a 6 year old iPod I dont have anything Apple. Only Android unfortunately. Im not worried about being super complicated with anything, just want to be able to hear myself so I can learn to play cleanly
  8. Hey, I currently only have a bass amp and cant afford to buy me a guitar amp so I had been looking at temporary alternatives to be able to improve my guitar playing. I bought a cheap Chinese USB plug in thing called Guitar Link, it would be alright if it didn't have nearly half a second delay in it. I dont care much about that really, sorta expected it. Anyone have some decent alternatives plug in devices to play an electric guitar though a computer? I'll be running Reaper on the computer. I have no idea about the rest...
  9. If one of those comes to my house Im going to steal it
  10. Not angry but an annoyance that doesnt deserve a dedicated topic. Three times now my computer has been left on without being used and gone into standby by itself and when I have comeback to it and woken it up it has a message saying that it has just recovered from a blue screen. Through talking to people they say it could be a RAM problem but in the task manager I still have all 16gb available to use. I have no idea but its a pain in the butt given Ive spent over $2K NZD on it. Its also been suggested I take one of the RAM sticks (or whatever you call it) out and see what one causes the crash but there is no pattern between crashes to time it right. Pain in the butt, any ideas?
  11. Just had the most awkward ass conversation with the girl Im keen on. Pretty much sealed the deal. Nearly 21 and I think Ive just landed my first ever girl friend. Stoked
  12. My lazy ass forgot to reply here about my question about the broken speed light. Thank you for the replies firstly, I did ask about it in a shop a week or so ago but haven't heard back so I'll just look into getting a new one. Throw it on the Christmas list. I've also just got around to buying a 50mm f1.8 Canon lens, I love it so much. I also love editing pictures by dropping out some of the vibrancy. The combination of those two equal... And
  13. When our dogs sniff my leg. Feels so good.
  14. Invent something that makes a moderately easy task even easier. Lazy people love crap that allows them to be even lazier. Throw a cake sale every day outside the local mall. Start up a new social media website craze. Write loads of crappy pop songs and try market them to as many producers as you can and become the next crappy pop sensation. Become a pimp.
  15. Hey people, a while back I bought a Yungnuo YN560EX Speedlight off ebay for mad cheap. A while back I smacked it one some BMX bars when it was on my computer and cracked the hotplate mount of the light and it has been in this state since. Id rather not have to buy a whole new flash if I can get a replacement base and hotplate for this one. Does anyone know much about sourcing parts for flashes and the likes?
  16. Started riding my trials bike for the properly for the first time in at least 8 months and its been so sick. Ive been riding better than I ever have before, been able to sidehop some decent rocks and do some other neat stuff that Ive never been able to nail until now. So stoked with what Ive been achieving although I don't understand how not riding has improved my riding

  18. I strongly believe that music has a massive power to move people. There are certain bands that I listen to any I am just overwhelmed by them and it makes me so happy. One of them being one of Underoath's albums, mainly because it was the first physical CD I bought when I first started listening to bands like that. There are some songs that just have such a good vibe to them that I love and others that hold memories for me that provoke feelings relating to when I first heard it.
