Just rang my insurance to look at cancelation fees.. Turns out that if i drove over my 6,000 mile allowance then they do not charge per mile, it will just invalidate any claims i put in! I'm just going to keep driving until next year so atleast ive got a years NCB

I'm paying just over £3000 a year with a tracking device. The majority of my friends who drive are named drivers on their mums policy when it's not their mums, even still it's about £1500. It's an absolute joke but I've just got to bite the bullet and pay it I guess

Okay I've got a question.. When i passed my test back in June, i took out insurance that meant having a telematics box fitted in my car to measure how i drive. I've got round 300 miles left on that insurance, which was meant to last me for a year. You can buy top up miles, but at £600 for 2000 i think its time to get a new insurer. I've had a quote for £1200 on a 10,000 telematics insurer. My question is, is it illegal to put on my insurance i live with my Dad, who lives near Leicestershire in the middle of nowhere? It's £800 cheaper to put his address rather than the one im actually living at. I'd have to change the address on my licence too i guess? Can anyone clear things up a bit?
