I had an experience riding the 810s for about a month on a loaner bike f/r... That was a great feeling strong brake. Riding friend got the m7 right when it came out- had leagues of problems with it, pad knock is HILARIOUS and bugs the shit out of me just riding with him. It started to leak, he sent it back to magura and they hooked him up with a new one- great customer service. im in the dark ages with avid bbdb on all my bikes, but guess what- I ride it for a year without ever touching it... Tried to go to an xt disc - leaked straight from the factory, sent it back. The feeling of hydros is great, but I feel they aren't worry free (aside from those 810s I rode for just a month... Would they last 10 months of riding with no maintenance?). I don't like working on my bike, I don't care if stuff is heavier I just want it to keep working with no maintenance. no experience with the 820s..

That looks bad ass. i love all your funny names for paint stripper. "Starchem", "caustic soda"... if those were in America fat f**ks would be eating / drinking it all the time.

You should start making gloves with huge holes in the hand. youll make so much money. like so much money, all the people that buy lime green ghetto ergonomic grips will buy your gloves. Sadly I think that would only be you and Hans Rey.

Lovely peaceful place to ride... Thanks for sharing

I will need compensation for your usage of my minds words. two of those levers and 12 feet of clear tubing and she's yours.

Mmmmm first magura add on that doesn't look like some drag queen mixed with an F1 car doing poppers and snorting speed off of large dicks in a dark alley of the red light district. Very nice looking... Very nice indeeeed.. Love every Trialtech product I've ever had, can imagine this to be good as well.

What kind of $120 5-10 shoes do you ride in? Could be the only way to ride so well...
-
Just put your bars full carthy, then the wall will be lower

Serious pogo shredder in America... Think he may be the best we have, some big ass sidehops and great solid rear wheeling.

How many people still keep / ride retro trials parts? Builds?
AndyT replied to Brettoll's topic in Trials Chat
I tried to put grip shift, 5 speeds and a road mech from back in the day (tightened with a cut spoke) on my hex... But I couldn't fit the cut down grip shift with my lock on grips on the arcade bars Wheels are 16 years old- hubs are both King, dx32 in the back and tioga dh in the front... 10 year old echo fork as well.. For now.. -
As others have said- riding getting much more controlled and smooth... Looking good, maybe a used 24" will fall into my lap sometime... Maybe.

Brilliant riding, brilliant terrain, brilliant bike... Frame looks great

Never seen that before.. Guy is a biKing master for sure.

Insane wall ride master in that clip !

They are rock hard, with no pulling to the bar? Mine engage 3.5cm from the bar, and I don't want them to move any more no matter how hard I pull. Which is hard. Have never felt a new 3 finger brake (be it Maggie/racing line or vee-Shimano-avid) that felt unlike mushy shite. It has more leverageand it stops great- but feels like mushy shite to me. I like a short little lever, as my paws can crush coal into diamonds. I'd love to try your brakes to be proven wrong, ship me a set and I'll let you know my review.

I know, and they feel like mushy shite to me.

The current pile of plastic shit hs33 is... well, a pile of plastic shit. I'd love to see hope try a hydro rim brake out, that long lever scares me to mush.

New shoes, lots of good background distraction. Interested to see how the rear tire is, coming from a 9 year old bald kaiser...
-
Skills to fit that light a bike- nice.. love that "trial" park, quite incredible. Thanks for sharing
-
Sounds like a mess for nothing, my kaiser isn't dead feelin. :dunno: have fun fun with your experiments, maybe it will work out.
-
Four rolls of duck tape, foam, glue, whatever else you need to seal the rim weighs as much as a tube from what I remember is tubeless doesn't exactly workout in the range of 16-23psi , what many trials people run. A high psi front tire for street could probably work

aka how to set up a bike to make it look incredibly uncomfortable.

He really stepped up the production in this video. Met eat him at a comp in California, posting from Arizona .. He's a bad ass, super solid "big" dude as you can imagine to ride that fat bike like a normal bike.
