  1. yup, you're right there no trading allowed in New Members Chat i'm afraid dude
  2. Sweet Warm soapy water is the best bet probably, give that a go and see if it comes off I'm really intrigued to see how this bike comes out, I was gonna do it in all green echo gear when I bought it but went for red instead, I've always wondered how it would look in green. Green stickers will look awesome too, you kept hold of the ones you took off so you can get them copied?
  3. That was awesome. Business card related injuries to rise by 400%
  4. Good stuff I didn't sell it to you by the way, I'm guessing ebay or something? I sold it on a few weeks ago to somebody on here
  5. I probably should also say, if this is the real danny mac, welcome to TF
  6. Probably thought you can put any caption on a photo of a cat and it makes it a lolcat
  7. I do that a lot, always good to know other people do it! Although I've come to the conclusion I'm really bad at it, as my right boot at work is utterly screwed but the left is fine! I do the round numbers thing too, things have to be done in even numbers, or ending in 5
  8. Pain Of Salvation, Really groovy prog. Love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f47atyeCmrE
  9. Most people sure as hell wouldn't send off something before it had been paid for, Especially to a member who's only been here a matter of weeks. This thread is embarassing now >.<
  10. You've obviously never cut your own pads. With a bit of knife work they will fit. Get a fresh stanley knife blade, keep it wet and do light strokes, don't try to cut massive chunks off in one swipe, you'll only end up ruining the pads and probably your fingers
  11. Spokey dokes, great until you got up a bit of speed! I also remember my first bike with gears had gripshift on, Everybody else had regular old shifters. I was like YEAHHHHHH I GOT A SWEEEET GEAR SYSTEM! Now nobody bothers with it anymore I still have a couple of old football sticker albums lying around somewhere, not actually finished so almost worthless really. The original metal thunderbird 2, still in box. ....wait, wasn't this thread meant to be about bikes?
  12. ....and then a hole through a 5mm thick steerer tube, and then have to thread up your bars and stem onto your cable before you can fit your brake lever...
  13. I love the crap you post, Will you sit in a cupboard and I can just open the door and let you out when i need cheering up? In other news, I really really hope Ali sends them an email, would be awesome viewing I reckon. Plus you get a cheap insult at the end when you beat the car, not many people can say they were PERSONALLY insulted by Clarkson
  14. I don't think the snare is actually that loud, I think the other instrument that accents with it (horns?) makes it sound a lot higher in the mix than it really is, maybe try dropping them down a bit as they really really cut and dominate to some degree I reckon a boomier kick might suit it better too, something more akin to old school blues recordings or (for lack of a better comparison) John Bonham's kick in Kashmir by Led Zepplin. The kick is really tight sounding and everything else isn't quite as quick, if you get me?
  15. you didn't even go but you're complaining about it? everybody else was fine with travelling, that's part of the fun of a weekend away I'm well keen for tartydays 2011, same place with the same people, would be awesome
  16. Having awesome guys to ride with helped me a lot when I got back into it, I bet if I hadn't found myself riding buddies then I wouldn't have kept at it I gave my bike a rebuild too, Fixed everything and greased everything up so I knew it was in top condition before I started Then just push yourself, give things a go and push to learn stuff, If you keep at it and start nailing moves you'll realise the potential you have and really start to enjoy it!
  17. I voted because you can spell and are blatantly keen You're now validated, do us proud!
  18. Generally speaking with street riding, You just get asked to move along. So you go find something else to ride and everybody is happy I'm sure there's stuff to ride in Manchester centre, I just don't know where it is You into street or natural more?
  19. this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceJ6LYOkP6E
  20. I'm from Macclesfield which is only about 20 miles away, me and a mate have said we wanna ride manchester sometime but have no idea where any good spots are, you know of any?
  21. mint style, I reckon you could bigger with a lot of things! a lot of the time you don't look like you're properly throwing yourself at gaps etc Be a man, Go for it! all in all, good vid
