  1. Quite right! Contact Evolve http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xp8p4_evolve Revolution (in 4 parts)
  2. I found that on ebay last year, seemed awesome at the time, nothing that amazing in it but think i'm right saying it was the first "mainstream" emglish vid! I remember now the bit you were on about, what vid was it in though?
  3. would have been good if reed had made a vid using English riders, ed tongue would have ripped it! Chainspotting is on YouTube in 5 parts. Obviously ashton would have been in it, who else would you have picked for it?
  4. The stack in the high jump was pretty unexpected, he totally messed that up! Would those riders then have been better on todays bikes and if so do you think we'd be better now. I mean a good rider now is can make a vid with better/bigger riding in than what was in videos ten years ago?
  5. apologies for shocking punctuation, odd words and spelling. I'm using my phone and starting to think i need glasses!? It's a pain but if you want to improve you have to put it in to take it out. I get bored on the x trainer but stick some tunes on and blow through half hour. Think someone else mentioned circuit training. I'm trying to get fit to get back on the run at work and made a circuit today of chest row, bicep curl, shoulder press, knee drag, shoulder raise, squat with weight bag, press up off a step trainer and an ab stretch to help my scars. Do that circuit three times with 15 reps on weights were the last rep is near to fatigue and it Will work.add a skipping station to keep cardio rate up but i designed this to strengthen the core as all movements should le carried out controlled, don't hurl weights, do everything slower and controlled whilst tensing your core in a strong stance and you Wont go wrong, I'm using this to recover from abdo surgery. Lots of low of low impact core work whilst you target key areas! Let me know if you want to know more in a Pm!
  6. might just be me but my arms and hands yet give up long before i get to a point where I'm getting a cardio workout. Our pt guy told me not need to work constantly for at least twenty minutes to have an effective workout. Think someone mentioned it but x trainers are ideal. I had the same problems with treadmills and that worked great. The resistance you apply Will give you a better workout than a treadmill to, you can just pump your legs, pull with your arms or both so it's a big win, only thing that comes close is swimming otherwise!?
  7. The only picture was an above picture, how do i see a bent blade from that? I had also sent the money then it occured to me to ask if it was the same model and posted a picture so he could confirm if it was the same version/mk xtr lever as the one i already had. I couldn't get the image to enlarge so asked if he could confirm it was the same. I hadn't a problem with.aesthetic damage but if i had known it was bent i wouldn't have bothered. Furthermore i confirmed that day i wanted it and had sent the money, it was posted a wek later. Read the rest of the thread, and you'll see no mention of bends and me asking questions he couldn't be bothered to really answer. Yes it was cheap for what it is, which is why i bought it, but it was sold as scratched, not scratched and bent. If someone sold you a koxx sky frame with a badly flared headtube and not mentioned it for 50 quid you'd be well happy until it turned and realised it was shagged?
  8. Might seem shitty but after it being posted a week late, turning up not as described, then being accused of bending it & being refused extra pics, i presume because it was bent, that to me, regardless of the refund offer, is a bad seller and it's your duty to other members to rate accordingly. I wont buy from anyone with negative feedback. People don't seem to do feedback. I always have to chase for mine as seller! Only reason i kept it is because keeping meant i had a pair of levers and it was cheap. It was the principle. It cost me less than a Tenner but what's to say that also wouldn't happen to someone spending ten times that? I can't see that it was damaged in the post, packaging was pristine and no damage or crushing to the lever body and no way it could be bent where it comes out the body without a hge amount of force/weight
  9. Probably half of the bits I've bought from here and pinkbike in the last year have turned up in an unusable state, bent rotors, bent lever blades and stripped threads most recently. The person on here who sold me the bent lever described it only as scratched, it turned up with the blade bent which I wouldn't have bought had I known. His attitude was pretty unhelpful throughout but he did offer a refund but I turned it down as I'll just bend it back. More hassle than worth. When I left negative feedback he left the same for me even though I asked for more photos and he refused, he didn't get that I left it as it was an inaccurate description and left me bad feedback for having to high expectations damaging my rep as a trader on here!!!? Furthermore he took a week to post, I paid straight away? How was I a bad buyer? Is it to much to expect stuff to turn up as described? If it doesn't say bent/stripped/rounded surely it's fair to assume its not? Second hand is a mine field I know but I'm very thorough in my descriptions and never had anything sent back Just wondering if I bought from assholes or expecting to much? Cheers

nice buddy! Not a skid in site either A bit of music might have made it a little more watchable but the riding can't be faulted!
  15. does it help stop them cracking at the brake mount if on the rear as its a compression type pressure instead of tension pulling the mounts away from the fork if they were on the front? (not an engineer but hopefully those terms aren't a mile off?) see below, Thanks!
  16. Not suggesting you would dude! But everyone hated him before he ripped a guy off for spamming posts and posting help me!!!!! threads
  17. erm.....they are cantilever fittings, a brake that noah used to stop the ark, they wont fit v brakes!
  18. guessing your new? Rules state not to post topics titled help please etc. Doesn't fuss me so much but rules is rules and a guy named Peter James Fraser was constantly doing that, wound everyone up doing it and then ripped someone off for about forty quid, you don't wanna be tarred with the same brush!

  20. ok, no worries, wife said whilst it has sound meaning might seem a little tacky ??! Might just get the quote split across my two wrists? If I think of anything else, even in a while can I tap you up on here? Thanks for your time and efforts, appreciate it!
  21. tempted to get that wrapped around my wrist. For image how about a lions head/face the shape of a heart with the names and dates in the mane some how???? Lionheart if thats not obvious, sure i'm not the first to think of it!?!!? would go on the left side of chest so say size wise 100 x 100 mm ish? I'm only small, wasted away from being ill!!!!
  22. found this quote i'd like included. Does this give you an idea for imagery? Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it
