  1. ^ +1 Keep your lever and hosing and buy some magura slaves. You can always polish them down if you wanted the polished alluminium look like the echo slaves. Magura slaves also give you much more inwards adjustablitly due to the larger clamp area.
  2. Im in Me and Dundy will be setting off around half nine from barton andy. Will meet you at college car park or tescos?
  3. Loving my rear brake atm.

  4. Try-All forks. Lightweight and seem to have held up to some very heavy landings and failed to fronts
  5. depends what year the fork is. The later lites are quite strong. Look at connels, had them for ages and are same year as the ones your looking at. All good
  6. surely if the chainstay lengths are the same on both the Hex and the Fourplay then theres no issues there. However seatstay length could be an issue. My dmr Rhythm 24"would take a 26 wheel as the chainstay is long enoungh, but is hampered by seatstays that are too short.
  7. Last bump. Get your selfs here people.
  8. Yeah it would shoot up walls to the back wheel. Sidehopped like a beast too. It will serve you well as it did I
  9. Magura wouldnt line up. Mounts would be below the rim. So unless your running brakeless it wouldnt work. Just get a HEX edit; Just realised you wanted to run disc! Should work fine
  10. which is why the only deng products i have are lever and tank like zoo python 06 frame. Rest is try all or trialtech.
  11. ahaa. Howd you guess? Nah shame you cant be there mate
  12. THATS MY OLD FRAME!!! You get it off a guy named Mathew Reed??? Miss it soo much Learnt alot on this frame
  13. Little question, Another chance I could be moving to 26", and would like to get clued up on parts Looking for a rim which has good strength (TGS style riding), holds a grind well, and for around £40-£50 Cheers guys. Also, the bike comes with Heatsink Yellows on a smooth trialtech powder coated rim. Works bloody amazing with a tad of tar but would they be any better on a grind?
  14. Hi guys, Would like to get a ride going on the saturday. Hoping for replies from the usual group inside of Scunthorpe as well as anyone interested in riding from the surrounding area Meeting place would probably be Trian Station or the Post Office flowerbeds at about 10.00am - 10.30am Cheers Sam
  15. Im defo coming to this event. Should be sick!!!!!
  16. i find the rockman freewheels weird. They skip like a bitch when new, but seem ok after a few weeks riding. Mate of mine has run his for a year now with no issues, the rockman 108. 144e.p sounds good though!
  17. brake needed a rebleed. Will get the grind done on friday, pads are fine. Brake set up is, Zoo python 06, V!Z clamps, Echo lever, oil bleed, Trialtech Sport 19'' and Tnn Lgms.
  18. Right guys, story goes as so. All ive ever done since starting trials was smooth rims, 2 bolt booster, tar or no tar, citrus pads or limes. Always worked great. However about 4 months ago i had a new wheel built along with a grind. I used my limes on this and worked fine. Recently i bought a set off Tnn LGMs and were great at first on a fresh medium grind, then one day i removed my rear wheel and its not been the same since ive cleaned my rim, pads, and set the brake as square as i possibly can. No avail. Cant think what it can be.
  19. brain wave, buy a sealed 32h hub and new spokes! Same rim just new hub, thus solving the bearing issue, and spokes to measure the rim to hub flange distance. winner
  20. could be a ounce of things. It could be your bearings, but it could be your chain also. I know my back wheel doesnt spin anywhere near as freely as it should because of the stiff links i get in my gusset tank chain, but will roll forever when the chains good.
  21. Ive run nothing but Maxxis for 2 years now. Brilliant tyres, but want a change. Ive decided that im going to find the perfect tyre. So will be trying try-all, monty and echo. Ive used the Echos and they felt good, but didnt use them long enough to get a good review, but others may disagree. For Tgs they should be fine, cls swears by his. Im gonna try running a rear Echo with Kenda up front in summer. Pure TGS the Try-All Stickys are next after the echo. Meant to be Bouncy, grip well and Logos look sick edit; sorry for double post. 22. I think im right in saying its a +55bb on the pro? Not sure on wheel base or reach, but ride surprisingly well. Much lighter without the standard discs too. Fork change also lightens it further
