  1. When span at fast speeds you can hear something rattling around, also doesn't explain why it goes completely silent when I'm actually riding the bike?
  2. Basically, when I spin the wheel the king is loud although it makes a strange rattling noise. When I'm actually on the bike the hub is absolutely silent, it enganges nicely and doesn't skip but I'm not sure whether to be worried about the changes in noise and the rattling sound when spinning fast. Not the best of videos but at least you can get some idea. Anyone know what could be wrong?
  3. Mods felt too constricting and stocks felt too sluggish. Got myself an Echo24 and it is spot on.
  4. Let the brake pads bed into the new grind
  5. Ive got an echo 108 click freewheel for sale at £35 posted, less than 6months old, pm me if you want it
  6. Roses are gay Violets are gayer I'm gunna f**k you with a rake Whilst listening to Slayer.
  7. I've had this problem with left handed square taper cranks too, drive size have always been solid but non-drive always seem to come loose and wear. Check the cranks taper for damage.
  8. So far everyone I've seen with an echo 24 has swapped the standard 130x25 stem and crappy bars for 150x35 stem and high risers. I had the 130x25 on for a week or two and it felt horrible, you have to take into account that the frame is +70bb.
  9. I agree with the "too stiff" bit of that post, I'm too thick to pass judgement on the rest though. 04 maggy lever with a trialtech 2bolt booster is too stiff for me, need to get some flex in there somehow.
  10. I found the trialtech 2bolt to be a f**ktonne stiffer than the Echo 4bolt
  11. Dual disc, if only my Echo24 had disc mounts
  12. My stem is thick as f**k so I can't run any stackers unfortunately :/ I was after a tryall highrise 150x35 stem or the 3d 150x30 to try with stackers but then I ran out of money
  13. 150x35, it's what i'm running and its perfect. Got some 08 rage bars on the bike too so lots of rise to play with.
  14. You might as well go for the carbon "just cause" Plus carbon lever blades are more comfortable than their alu counterparts (going by the feel of hopes).
  15. I've heard that Maggy pistons are only as slow as their owners...
  16. As I've said in many different threads around here I hate my Kinetics, they're very hard to pince (two pinches in about 4months) but thats probably due to the higher pressures I run. Anything lower than 30-35psi makes it feel sluggish and flat rather than bouncy. I only weigh about 81kg atm and even at 30ish psi I can still rim it out just preloading.
  17. You been taking Matt on all these secret rides without me Jack?
  18. From what I saw though he's a rediculously smooth and flowy rider, I'm not sure it'd stand up to full blown tgs or comp riding.
  19. 1:46 is exactly what I mean, no extreme sideways gapping here
  20. First proper attempt at using a rail for anything, I'm gunna go back to this spot some time in the next few weeks and do it to front. Sorry for the quality, filmed on an iphone4 and uploaded using 3g. I'll re-up later when using wifi. My riding looks so sketchy in this video, especially the up to front haha
